Why is the S88 MK3 limited to -1 Octave? (MK2 could do -2)
I'm really frustrated with a regression in the S88 MK3 design. On the MK2, we could shift down two octaves to reach the low keyswitches (C-2 area) commonly used in libraries like Spitfire and Shreddage. The MK3 has hard-locked the octave down button to -1 only. I just bought a KKM32 and it works perfectly fine The knobs only control the track volume (and panning with shift), really useful but I wish I could map them to Ableton Live stock devices' knobs; I swear I've seen a video of that being possible, but it might have been a different NI keyboard? Does anybody know how to get my S88 knobs and buttons to function for NI software, not Logic Pro?
Could anybody help please? My S88 MK1 piano keys work in Logic Pro but the buttons and knobs only work for Logic Pro, I can’t use them for any of NI software, the buttons clearly work but for the wrong software… how can I get them to recognise NI software instead of Logic Pro software?
