Pitch Bend wheel issues - S88 MK2 in Logic Pro X

Logic V. 12.3

Komplete Kontrol 3.5.4

S88 firmware up to date v.0.5.9

So my Pitch Bend wheel on the S88 recently started to only step down any sound / patch / instrument preset by a major triad. No "bending" of any kind, moving the wheel up or down has the same effect - just a major triad down, that's it.

I uninstalled and re-installed Komplete Kontrol, I delete Caches and Logic Preferences / plist, same result, across any software library (Logic Factory or third-party).

On a side note: I tried to find a way to reset / factory reset the S88 MK2, impossible to find any info on that anywhere.......including this NI Forum........

I really don't even know where to begin trying to fix this - and it's driving me nuts!

So any guidance will be much appreciated............

Make sure to reset the MIDI assignments to default and try on another computer. You can also check with our hardware department the cost for repair.

Ran KK in standalone, Logic closed, same result. So must be a hardware issue. Oh well……maybe time for a different controller!

@edweb Is this happening outside of Logic? If you open Komplete Kontrol in standalone, with Logic closed, is the behaviour similar?

These readings seem off somehow. FYI there is no way to set up the pitch wheel on the software side. What you can try is to open the Komplete Kontrol standalone app and reset the MIDI assignments to default by adding a new template:

If that didn't help and the readings are the same in every app, that would indicate a hardware issue. The ultimate test in this case is to try on a different computer. In any case yu can also get in touch with our support here:
