Issue with Komplete Kontrol MK2 not being detected in MAC OS 27 developer beat 4

Question

I know… risky business here. The thing is my midi controller was working fine up to maybe 2 days ago so I underwent already 4 beta updates and suddenly after installing a security update I notice now the keyboard is not being detected as a midi device by my macbook pro.

Man this sucks. Any feasable workaround. I can't really revert via time machine or nothing.

As already pointed out, 27 isn't supported yet.  Having said that, do you see the kbd in the Audio MIDI Setup app?  If you don't then you might have to wait until Apple fix whatever they unfixed. If you can see it in AMS but not in audio apps you could try the power-off/delete the kbd entry/power-on and see if it gets re-added and works.

Yeah never a good idea to mess around with the latest OS or Beta releases of macOS at all until you check if ALL your hardware and software is supported. That is why most people suggest to keep at least one full OS update behind the latest because developers are constantly forced to make their products work with macOS releases.

Best you can hope for is that there is something fixed soon but it could take months for NI to even get around to making their stuff compatible, that usually does not even start to happen until after the actual official OS release is available.

This OS is not supported so it’s unlikely anyone can assist here.

Anyone who wants to ensure their Ni products are working are solid on OS 26 and lower.
