Their intent may mean "buy and build" market share. Or "buy and build" - their actual portfolio. Or it just be some goofy filter on the web site.

One thing is for certain - have never seen any private equity firm care about anything long term - except their own bottom line. So I would not read too much into this.

BUILD it the way you want…

in this case, transforming it from a company with expansions, libraries AND programs/synths to a company pointing all on the products that brings cash in but requires a lot less development (expansions and repeated libraries like Play Series).

Which is not negative per se, if that is what you are looking for
