I'm so confused right now, is it this? I think it used to say "Bank" in previous versions but now it doesn't?
PS: The thread in the KK forum was closed for some reason, so I re-opened it.

YES, this is the damn "greyed out" bank thing (also same in Maschine)!
If you can find a way to make it possible for us to edit bank names within our software instead of messing around with scripts for hours, you deserve a statue! 😉

Badass, thanks for sharing. I don’t have macOS but I have it on a virtual machine so I might spin it up there and play around. I’m a software engineer by day so I can play around with the source code and see about looking into doing a windows port but I can’t promise anything, I’ll get back at ya when I get a chance to play around.

Thanks. Oh, awesome. It's a simple app, it just replaces lines of text in KK/Mas content resources, adapting the functions from Swift to some other language like C++ or whatever should be easy. I'm looking into remaking it with Electron for cross-compatibility but that means learning basics of javascript + web front end stuff + all the windows specifics, so not sure if i can manage it or not but having one code base for the 2 OS's would be cool.

Yessss windows please. Even if you would put only the focus thing (the resizing is interesting too, but just “aesthetically”. The focus will really change how we use NI hardwares)

I looked into this and no, there's no way for me to achieve it. If there was already a way to edit some banks and not others I could search for the bit of code that blocks it, most likely there's not even a way to do it inside the KK to unblock it, if there is then this is something for someone with real hacking skills... requires actual reverse engineering some stuff.
If someone figures that out I can add it to the Patcher but it's unlikely anyone will spend the time.

Is there a way to make the Title area for the pad names wider?

Is this programm could change de default string "Pattern" in just "P" ?
It could be nice to finally see something else than "Patt...." when coming to a final track with many patterns/scenes.

You mean the area highlighted in the pink? Sure, it should be easy to add, I'll have a look.
It will look awkward if the part above isint the same size tho.
When the text does not fit with the level of zoom you have active it shows you "Pa" and more importantly the number of the pattern, how else could it work and be usable?

it can display "Pa...1)" & "Pa...1)" but it's "Pattern 1 (1)" & "Pattern 2 (1)"
since every patterns are patterns its maybe not revelent to name everythin pattern ^^

Actually finally got round to trying this today. Is there a way to keep the behaviour of KK wrapping to the plugin windows when it has a plugin but being large when empty? tbh I always loved the way KK wraps to plugin size as it makes it unobtrusive as a wrapper, the ideal solution for me would be to be able to decouple the search pane from the plugin pane so they can be independently sized, and of course to make them both support HDPI graphics/fonts. That's for NI to sort though
Also how do you set width, it only seems to set height/depth?

Yes, there are 2 sizes to modify one with a plugin load and another for an empty KK.

Hum... Yes, only height and wider browser. I think I can easily add a custom width setting but what's the use case tho? If KK wraps around whatever is loaded what advantage would a custom width offer?

Oh, I see what you mean now. I think that kind of stuff is in the binary and not on scripts, so I probably can't mod it but I'll have a look.
