And this is explicitly the place where we can talk about these things! I don't understand why you are so vehemently opposed to talking about it, never mind fixing the bug! you even started out saying you didn't have it! you blamed it with unshakeable certainty on factors that turned out to be wrong! I don't get what's in it for you. let us complain about the things we find wrong with the software! we do NOT just have to accept bugs as if they were some kind of natural disaster with no human component and no way to change things. the actual people who could do something about it sometimes read this forum! we have HOPE that they will see it makes working with the program annoying, and that they'll eventually fix it.

And what about sorting according something and consolidating? But it does not flicker me (visibly) if filtering not used. Even if editing tags. My video shows it.

That's my stopgap solution. Copy playlist, sort by [X], consolidate, sort by #.

I have the video right here, and it does not support what you are saying here. After you took the filtering off, the only thing you did was sorting by different columns (which flickered), but you never tried to edit a field while sorting by something other than # again.

Yeah, it's more overhead. It's a bit like an obstacle course at this point, weaving around various issues that all perhaps seem small on their own, but the end result is that actions that could be natural and easy turn into some sort of chore. Always need to remember 14 things to do the one thing the way it's ostensibly meant to work.

When you don't have the issue discussed here, why are you in this thread at all?

I get the flickers even with playlists that have just two tracks in them... It's not about the size of the collection!

And you had collection of two tracks? Not playlist, but collection.

OK, now I understand what flickering you all speak about. And I agree it exists. I do not use Traktor that way, so I did not hit it. And my friends as well.

But even with my 3 500 tracks on my weak computer, it is mostly OK, more or less visible, but not anoying. At least not for me.

But with much larger collections it may be too much.... It is what it is. It is not designed for 100k tracks, maybe even not 50k. I do not know how big collection NI programmers use....

no, but i don't have one of those gargantuan collections either, nowhere near 100 or 50k. if i get the chance to install traktor to a new system i'll try that two-track collection though!

I am also affected by the flickering and am shocked that something like this still exists in 2024.

It always flickers exactly twice when you do something in the library or load a track into the deck.

And sometimes it also flickers during transitions, I think when the master logo jumps from one deck to the other?

But the sound works perfectly, it's just the interface that flickers.

My library is almost 25,000 MP3s in size, and I use Windows 11.

Then let's hope that this problem will be solved soon.
