Milos, how did you get advisor status? I've seen lots of your posts and you continually give bad/incorrect advice.

Look at the likes.
Look at the correct answers.
I will tell them for you.
I have 140 points now in total.
Subtract by the likes (67) and insightfuls (5×2)
That is 63.
Now subtract with the points I got from badges (19 points in total)
That is around 44.
Now divide that by 3 (3 points for each correct answer)
Nearly 15 correct answers.
As you can see, some of my advice is rather not so good (just trying my best instead), but some of the advice is actually good.
Advisors make mistakes sometimes.
Pros rarely make mistakes.
Gurus almost never make a mistake.

We all make mistakes, even the Pope 😋 ...and that's the gift of learning.
Without mistakes, there is no progress, no evolution, no discovery, no science, no philosophy, no personal achievements, nothing...
Mistakes are the greatest teacher for us all. 🙏

He gets it.
But again, I admit that I had some advice from other software (especially Traktor) that is rather a big flop.
But look at the advice I gave for Kontakt, Guitar Rig, Native Access and in some ways Maschine and KK, especially Kontakt and Guitar Rig.
And about the software such as Traktor, yeah, I mostly stopped doing that...
If I want to give the advice for that program a bit more, I will need to practice this program myself.

Keep in mind the rank names don't mean anything literal, it's all just names related to "helping" / "knowledge" and part of the forum gamification. https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/11801/monthly-leaderboard-prizes/p1
It's fine, I can tell you have good intentions and that's great but as you can see there are a lot of people noticing your incorrect answers, you will keep rubbing people the wrong way if you don't tone it down a bit, stick to the subjects your good at as this whole discussion made the thread huge and shifted the focus from helping OP.

Sure thing!
Again, even if I want to help people who use the instruments or features inside the plugins like Traktor or Massive, I gotta use the software for at least a year in order to help others with that same software.

And about the desktop folder stuff, it actually helped me a lot and it solved multiple issues (Installing, Updating, Relocation of the files...)
If you don't want to make a desktop folder, just make a custom folder inside the memory (This PC for Windows and some similar for Mac).
Then make a desktop folder as a last resort if the inside-memory folder doesn't work.

Just for information, the path mentioned in this message
is NOT on your local machine, it's the location of source file on the build machine where the error was detected . Nothing to do with java or web signatures or anything like that. A .cpp file is a c++ source file, not javascript.

Correct, C++ file inside the binary.

Still have never figured out exactly where (or from what app) this error appeared on screen tho. Error message box? Error log?
How/where did you screencap it orginally?

No idea where OP got it from, I think he gave on this thread and is now probably just talking to tech support.
My screenshot is from reading the binary in a Hex editor, just to make sure that file was indeed part of GR6 and not some other error of Studio 1.

Why would a OneDrive folder need uninstalling?

If you mean OneDrive standalone folder, it's because it is useless.
I uninstalled it because it showed me notifications all the time and it was not necessary.
But if you need OneDrive standalone folder, then be my guest.

Hi - I haven’t given up on this thread but it does seem to have lost the focus. I sent VP a wee video and of what I see when S1 crashes and he made a few suggestions but I’ve been away and haven’t had a chance to try anything out yet.
I’ve raised a ticket with Presonus but from what you are saying, the problem is at the NI end, or even the computer build (it’s a new machine that I’m trying to migrate to) - is that correct?
PS. I’m assuming that OP is a reference to me but what do these letters stand for?
Thanks for taking an interest. 👍
