get Maschine 2 software

I recently bought a second hand Maschine Mikro MK2. then realised that its not supported by the latest Maschine 3 sofware. it can be run only using Maschine 2 software. However this version is not available for purchase. the owner who sold it is not giving the serial number of the software. i am pretty much stuck with the device. any guidance or help ?

    As you wrote yourself then the software is no longer for sale.

    You can either try using the N.I.     I'm in the same situation. My Maschine Mikro MK2 won't work on the Maschine 3 software. I just bought it coz I lost the CD with the serial on it. Support told me I couldn't do much about it, downloadable content couldn't be refunded, and since they don't have any more serials to sell they can't get one for me, so I'm just waiting on the forum looking for someone who trying to the rid of their Maschine 2 software so I can trade em the Maschine 3 license I just bought.

    it certainly makes no sense the Maschine 2.0 software is no longer available….

    the only way it could possibly make sense, is if you wanted to end hardware&software support… thus making older hardware undesirable

    Owning various Maschine models, I have some unregistered Maschine 2 licenses in my account.

    Oh well, I guess my advice for you is to be aware of the checky comments of @LostInFoundation , who also talks badly about the Maschine Support Team, but only on DM. In the few days I've been around, I've noticed he has some beef around with other users, big or small, but I can see @LostInFoundation is someone who's always catching trouble.

    And umm, no, I'm not making anything up. I can post a screen of his DM talking badly about the NI Support team.

    @re_code Please do. Post all our discussion where I tried to help you and you treated me bad for no reason.

    I offered this guy to exchange his license with mine in order to make him have the Maschine 2 he needs, he started to pretend to have more, I spent time counting one by one the stuff included with the libraries in Maschine 2, he even mocked me…

    Btw: I never talked badly about NI Support team. I said that I don’t like how NI company treats users wanting to use the stuff they already have (thing that I’ve done HUNDREDS of time here in the forum, as everybody knows…). At least learn to read what others have written…


    Wait…you know what… usually I think that what somebody writes me in private remains in private… but since you are threatening me to post what I wrote and you seem interested in it being posted… and since I’m someone “who’s always catching troubles”… don’t bother… I’ll do it for you… I’ll post our discussion… so others can see how you where pretending, aggressive, insulting and mocking for no reasons… and that I never talked badly about Support team nor said anything I haven’t said here multiple times. At least, if you want to attack someone…take informations before…

    Btw…for your interest: @nims68 already contacted me in private. He said he could buy my Maschine 2 license in cash… but since I’m a bad person, what I did is suggesting him to wait for the support answer, since he should be able to have it for free.

    Yes…really a bad person I am…

    Btw 2: someone knows what are those “Shark Time episodes” with which he tried to accuse me of something? 😂😂😂

    Just to say if you are going to help someone there is no need to be cheeky about it, you don't need to brag about it either, its a shame that this forum has to deal with your supposed help that just makes awkward messages.

    PS. feel free to write another book about it, so you get cancelled again.
