get Maschine 2 software

I recently bought a second hand Maschine Mikro MK2. then realised that its not supported by the latest Maschine 3 sofware. it can be run only using Maschine 2 software. However this version is not available for purchase. the owner who sold it is not giving the serial number of the software. i am pretty much stuck with the device. any guidance or help ?

As you wrote yourself then the software is no longer for sale.

You can either try using the N.I. Forum Buy / Sell / Trade to see if someone has a secondhand version to sell : You click the link and scroll down to the comment field below the last post and add your own post using the' Leave a Comment' comment field, like you would when adding a new comment to any discussions here. To respond to a specific offer then use the 'quote' below the post containing the offer .

Or you can contact N.I. Account Support to see if there is anything that they can do to help you.

It is possible that your hardware device is considered to have base software that will be added to yuour account if registering the hardware serial to your account : Quote Matt_NI : All you need to know about License Transfer , but all matters of registration and any eventual transfer problems are also a matter for N.I. Account Support
