Recovering damaged Serial number sticker

I've recently bought a Kontrol M32 from facebook marketplace. The serial number sticker on the bottom has some of the numbers and letters missing so I can't register it. Is there any way to recover the text that was there?

Did you get a license Transfer with the M32. If it is already registered by the previous owner, then they need to provide a license transfer or registration will fail... The license transfer process is all explained here...

Hello,

you can try to use the firmware update tool from that site Downloads : Drivers & Other Files | Support (native-instruments.com), it should show the serial, but if the serial is registered you are not able to use it.

It shows 1/5th of the serial so I think it is still regisitered. I will talk with the seller and thank you for the answer
