Just report and write the reason if it doesn't fit anything. Otherwise we would need 100 reasons listed.

that's why i was proposing the "other" category. so you do not need 100 reasons listed, but we still can report things without saying the wrong thing about the post

edit: i have decided to message Matt instead of reporting - i don't think it's something a mod could remedy

Although the Notes box at the bottom is where we can report exactly what we want, it might be confusing for many because the default reason remains checked. Probably better if it could be unchecked if it does not apply to the additional comment. But if it cannot be un-checked, Other could be added and that solves the issue as well.

Just replying to the last 2 comments:

Guys, consider that the list is more than complete. "Other" does not exists maybe because apart from the already named 6 reasons, there is nothing else that should be reported as a violation. A forum is by definition an open space and not a police state. Everything that should be reported is already there. For other reasons you could simply message to a mod or an admin.

"Other" makes sense, i though we had it already.

Up to you, if you simply report and ignore the reason and just write the justification i'll handle it now, if you rather way until theres an "other" category then wait till Matt gets back in 2 days since it's the weekend, if he is available to handle it that day.

Yeah, I try to explain things clearly. Hope your fm turns out good. I use mine to emulate an acoustic piano's sympathetic resonance. I use Kontakt as the sampler and blend in the FM generated resonance when depressing the sustain pedal. The sympathic resonance fades in like a real piano does when the felts are lifted off the strings and other played notes resonate the open strings. You can also hold down notes before pressing on the sustain pedal then depressing on the pedal brings out the sympathetic resonance of the open string. Samplers only have note samples with the pedal up and with the pedal down so if you press the pedal after playing the notes there is no sympathetic resonance with a sampler alone. I managed to get 40 voices at 24k SR with about 60 percent CPU usage. The samplers hardly use any cpu so it's a good combo. I just freeze the piano track into a wave file after that part is done. Yet it plays real time just fine and is very enjoyable. So cool, Reaktor Rocks...

Be patient when others are speaking and don't be too quick to jump in a conversation without thinking about what they are saying, no matter how quick or creative your mind is. Common sense stuff, you know...

Well, as D-One said, just because you have the label from the community as a Pro or a Guru, that doesn't always mean you are one actually.

I will bring myself as an example.

I have nearly 300 points, for 2 months or less, I should be able to promote myself to a Guru.

But that doesn't mean I am the actual pro or guru.

For me, I am barely an advisor (I recently started using Reaktor and Traktor DJ 2, as well as making more alternative solutions for some people on this forum.).

Once again, more and more points doesn't always mean more and more knowledge or experience.

As for the vote point system, even I am confused.

Some upvotes give me points and some don't.

    Same for the downvotes.

There are downvotes that actually take away a point per downvote, while other downvotes don't.

Points mean nothing other than people like to post a lot...

    It depends...

There are some people that have like, 4 or 5 thousand comments and yet they were on this forum as long as me or even less.

    But I can understand.

As for the upvotes and downvotes, it might be a glitch or something.

I still miss likes and insightfuls tho.
