That would be complicated with all the deck combos. Each decks only knows it's own ID and doesn't differentiate between left/right/top/bottom. I don't want to spend too much time on intricate things with the MinimalMod and want to reserve it to the full mod.

Also i am deep inside the full mod at the moment with lots of complicated stuff on top. If i stumble across an easy solution, i will let you know.

UPDATE: X1MK3 - Community Performance MOD Version 12 beta 3:

New features:

• Added eqKill and subchannelMute indicators to screen display. eq/subchannel bar letters switch from white on black to black on white when kill/mute is active.
• Fixed a bug with the remix slot mute. This means i will put up this beta as a fix on page 1.

UPDATE: X1MK3 - Community Performance MOD Version 12 beta 4c+d:

New features:

• FX Screen (Mixer Overlay [EQ, Stems, Remix-Slots]): Parameter bars for equalizers and stem/slot superknobs will blink when Kill/Mute-toggle is active. Looks really nice and informative.

I hope you enjoy the screen feedback as much as i do. I try to make them as useful as possible. Hopefully i will start the customizable mixer overlay overhaul real soon.

I put up a complete description of the mod on Page 1, including installation instructions.

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY:

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Before applying any of the ideas and files i am hoping to collect in this thread, make sure to make a safety copy of the complete qml-folder of the Traktor software, so you have the original files as a fallback in case of, you know, failure.

After that, all the files contained in the archive replace the original files. Drop the modded qml-folder on top of the original qml-folder in the 'Traktor Pro 4/Resources64' folder of the program.

To find out the location of the files, use the TP4 shortcut secondary function to open the filepath (right mouse click on windows, something similar for macOS). Navigate through the folders until you find the qml folder. Make a safety copy of the folder before doing any overwriting.

ive replaced the whole qml folder and now when I open Traktor the mk3 docent even come up with device setup

In the original qml folder are more than 500 files.

In the mod qml folder are 15-20 files.

Do not replace the original qml folder. Keep it in it's original place (just make a safety copy of it).

Drop the mod qml folder so that the handful of files it contains overwrite a handful of original files but keep the majority of the original files intact. They are necessary.

First of all, thank you for all the hard work and dedication to this community. Truly appreciated!

I've been trying to install the mod on my Intel Macbook pro. I'm using Traktor Pro 4, and even though I am merging the qml folder which contains the mod with the original QML folder, I still can't make traktor to see my X1. Is there any other way how to install the mod?

• Step 1: return the original qml folder to it's original state. See if Traktor runs properly and your X1 is recognized.
