Can't route VST outputs (XO) to separate channels in Maschine
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to route the individual outputs from XO by XLN Audio to separate pads or mixer channels within the same group in Maschine. Here's my setup
- XO is loaded as a VST on one pad (e.g., Pad 1) in a group.
- Inside XO, each lane is routed to a different output (Out 1–8).
- Normally, in Maschine, I should be able to go to another pad (say, Pad 2), set the Input to "Audio," and select one of XO’s outputs as the source (like "Input → Group → Sound 1 → Out 2").
- This works fine with other multi-out plugins (e.g., Elektron Syntakt or Battery), where I can multitrack each sound easily using this method.
The issue: XO’s additional outputs (beyond the main stereo out) simply don’t appear in the routing options inside Maschine. No matter what I try — refreshing, rescanning plugins, changing plugin mode from VST2 to VST3 — Maschine just doesn't recognize the additional outputs from XO.
Has anyone experienced this specifically with XO, or seen similar behavior with other plugins?
Is there a known workaround, or is this just a bug/limitation?
I'm on Windows 11 with Maschine 2 and 3 (VST3 version of XO), and I've had other issues with Native Instruments lately (e.g., VST window resizing bugs), so I'm wondering if this could be related.
Any insights would be much appreciated!

Hello,
habe you enabled the outputs lie described here under the point "enable outputs" or something like that:

Do the XO multichannel outputs work correctly in other software?
In other words, maybe it's XO that's the issue.
