Do I have to retain my crossgrade license if I have upgraded the product since the crossgrade?

I purchased Komplete Ultimate 9 with a Crossgrade license from Maschine MK2 many years ago.
Since then I have upgraded Komplete and am on Komplete Ultimate 14 currently.
Do I have to retain my license and Maschine MK2 hardware to maintain compliance with my Komplete version? Am I allowed to transfer my Maschine 2/Maschine MK2 to someone else at this point?

You transfer the hardware and the new user should get the same software package that you received with it originally. You retain the software as well to keep your upgrade paths intact.
