Any hope for secondhand owner of A25?

So I purchased this controller in Like New condition from Amazon and of course, the serial # is already registered.

Let me first say that the chat function is infuriating; it opens new cases automatically if there is no agent available. If I can't manage to type 'Live Agent' at the right time it open a new ticket!

When I finally get a response after 2 days, they tell me that they have contacted the registered owner to request a transfer license, but I have no idea if or when that will occur.

I have sent them both a picture of the serial label and my invoice from the Amazon order… will that be enough for them to transfer the hardware to my account even without the express consent of the previous owner?

If not i am going to have to return this brick ASAP.

    @enigmachrysalis My colleague got back to you today (request 4550238) asking for the invoice. I couldnt find the invoice in there. Can you double check and/or send it again to my colleague?

    There was another case/ticket open that I had responded, but 4550238 seems to be the active one so I dropped the PDF of the invoice there to Julia just now.
