Correct,

I've used it in a session, and since it has the four-channel option,
 it's very tedious and annoying when you're on the A/B deck if one of the C/D channels is active.
 It forces you to go back and deactivate it.Then, if you want to hear them together, 
the ideal thing would be to press the pre-listen button and, without releasing it,
 press the other one so you have both at the same time, for example...always on A/B and C/D, of course.

Replace the file '…\Native Instruments\Traktor Pro 4\Resources64\qml\CSI\Z1MK2\Z1MK2.qml' with this one (save the original).

Does it work? I can't test.

If it does, you will have to apply the mod after every new Traktor update.

Traktor 4 not run with this mod remains in standby…i put the original back in and it start again without problems.

I tested the new code with S4Mk3 successfully.

Now TK4 starts and pre-listens correctly, and disables one when you press the other, 
but now the A/B to C/D deck switching that was done with the top-middle button (the one you 
press together with the shift key to enter MIDI mode) 
has been cancelled. Do you understand what I mean? 
Thanks a lot for the effort, but this one seems to be more complicated. 

i add:

I have restarted Traktor and when I press the deck change button for the first time it does so,
 it changes to C/D and then when I press it again it goes back to A/B, but from then on it 
doesn't do this anymore.

Now that is interesting. Something new to learn for me. I will try it a bit differently.

Edit: I could add it to the X1 mod instead of the Z1 mod. It will work for both, if you use both mods and both devices at the same time. Is that ok, or do you want to use the Z1 alone without X1?

UPDATE: X1MK3 - Community Performance MOD Version 11 beta 2 TP 4.2.0 :

New Features:

If deck is synced (and the global clock is tempo master), SYNC(Hold)+LoopEncoder(Turn) adjusts clock BPM.
Engaging Cue Monitor for one channel automatically deactivates Cue Monitor for the other three channels. This is a global effect for the software and works not just on the X1, as long as a mapping file for the X1 is loaded. (I am looking to make this optional)

Use the original Z1 file. All code is now in the X1 mapping. :)

Ok, the problem is that I use the simple X1 Mk3 mod, could you implement it in that one? 
I'd make things easier... hehe

It works perfectly, 
great work. 
It's brilliant to have used the
 X1 MK3 mod for the Z1 MK2.
 Now I can play four decks 
without a problem!
