We definitely need to see some attention given to Komplete Kontrol now that the hardware MIDI stuff is done. Tangible improvements, not just bug fixes and support for more hardware controllers.

Add my voice to the choir. It feels like old promises are being forgotten. This was one of my primary concerns early on when NI said it was working on missing features. I was worried that the day-to-day business at NI would end up pushing this work right out of the backlog.

    That's NOT what we wanted.

Add me too. I think back now to the Fall of 2023 and the general distaste for the look/feel of KK3 when it first appeared - and espeically my own internal "scoffing" that this thing HAD to just be a "first" iteration and simply HAS to get better with time.

Now it's hard to believe that 18 months+ has passed since I have made those assumptions and KKV3 has basically not changed whatsoever (bug fixes aside).

Even more incredulous is that KK v2.9.6 has become even more indispensable to my workflow than it originally was back in the Fall of 2023 - something that I thought was simply not possible.

It is also even harder to comprehend how long we have been waiting for even the slightest hint/sign that this app will ever actually get any better.

I am hoping this thread is that sign and that it will not take another 18 months for KKv3 to gain feature parity with KKv2 and ideally surpass it for function and form.

NI will have to make KK a 100% working and 100% feature list complete before I will EVER consider buying another NI controller keyboard to replace my S88 Mk 1.

I hope therefore that my Mk 1 remains functional until at least the year 2050…
