Still waiting for that fix for Sub Banks…..
1 -
they must be busy catching up on Maschine features and bug fixes?
Or trying to gain more customers through 3rd party ultra basic hardware integration.
in the meantime, my Kontrol s mk2 and mk3 are gathering dust… bet they don’t factor pissed off users not using the gear at all (and waiting for fixes and lost features for nearly 2 years) in their stats…
ill never be an early adopter of native instruments hardware ever again (nor will I recommend it to anyone)-1 -
Sub banks stiiiiiiiil an issue. Bordering close to 2 years now since this bug was introduced!
Will be back to throw this reminder into the black void again in another week…0 -

I'd also like to push for an actual status related to the current KK3.X development.
Some time ago and in another thread, you provided the information to the community that Maschine software updates would take priority over any Komplete Kontrol software improvement. This was fully understood.
However, as it seems, the Machine updates have already been pushed out recently, and also the NI Summer Sales period is over. When is the time actually ripe to tackle the promised KK3.X software improvements we were referring to, especially the task to bring back the abandoned KK2.9 features?
I'm also aware that general vacation time is on its way; but I hope this is not a reason to put the community off for another six months or something like that. Therefore, could you please give us a more detailed forecast for your plans on that very important topic? Thanks in advance.3 -

I recently got windows 11 on my pc with maschine 3. One (of many) issues i'm having is I cannot load the user bank nks sounds. Have you documented this issue or do you have a suggestion. Thanks

Hi Jason,
Hope you are well.
For some reason, I can’t access the sub banks of your NKS libraries for the products I own on the Komplete Kontrol MK3 keyboards. They work fine on the MK2 keyboards.
These include, Korg Collection 4, Roland Legendary Collection, Roland SRX Collection, Roland Zenology and Softube Model 84
I can access the product with knob 2 and bank with knob 3, but not the sub banks with knob 4 like on the MK2 keyboards.
The sub banks work in other libraries I own on the MK3 keyboards.
Thanks a lot.
Your friend,
Jay

Dear Jason,
Just a little update.
I was extremely unsatesfied with my komplete Kontrol database, so did a total initializing.
I think some of my problems related to that because of my new Komplete S88 mkIII and the newly introduced accessibility to this product I was forced to upgrade to the latest version of Komplete.
What happens now is. I can see two things in the Ascension. Factory and Extensions. No sub banks by the way, but a very very long list of presets.
I really hope you might have an idea of what’s going on?
Best regards
Brian

Message: Hi - I have a few NKS sets from you. Korg Collection 5 and Roland Zenology. I’ve been mostly running them inside Maschine 3, where they work fine.Inside Komplete Kontrol, however, I just noticed that the instruments only show their Factory Banks. The sub bank selector is unactive too. For instance, inside Triton, it should have all the virtual versions of its EXB banks. The same in Zenology, can’t select any sub banks.
Any idea why, and how to fix?

Yes this is really dragging on. Now the work on the hardware side has achieved most if not all it set out to do, I was hoping attention would turn back to the software side of KK. The bug fixes seem to be just reacting to superficial issues but not addressing any of the deeper problems or actually adding features users have been asking for for so long. It's very frustrating.2 -

Message: Hi Jason. Assume some of the sub banks don't work with the mk3 keyboard? Unsure if there is a way of managing falcon expansions as they all sort of blend into one now when scrolling through!
Kind regards,

These are just some messages I quickly scanned for in the last few months from users, there are many more but just again to highlight this issue and the fact this is NOT me being upset about a feature I personally lost. This is users that I have helped maintain satisfaction and usability with their products for you.
Just keep in mind there are thousands of users taht I have assisted with to help them keep their products offering extended functionality. I receive a LOT of valuable feedback and engage with many users (some are pretty large producers) and I cater for a lot of their needs.
I am having to relay the bare truth that we have been asking for a fix for this now for 2 years and the response I get is there is no importance placed because there are just not enough people asking for it. Well this may not be the "million" of users you need to consider something important but to me, these are people all singing the same tune about something that use to work just fine.
Forgive me if my attitude here is somewhat negative, but after 10 years of supporting NI with countless hours of work and many thousands of users supported, it is a kick in the guts to not only have this issue drag on but have that constant feeling of "oh, this is something a select few "power users" are harping on about" Companies like NI should be embracing these "power users" because they are doing the work you refuse to do.
Now, please consider addressing at least this issue for your user base.
