Hey, I couldnt seem to find the answer i was looking for. Will the third party VST's on this list run NKS outside of the Komplete Kontrol software?

Arturia updated it's plugins to NKS2 in the latest update…

Annoyingly though the Pigments NKS2 mapping is a lot worse than the NKS1 template I made but it seems to override it, even in previously saved NKS
There needs to be a way to switch NKS versions

Is it me or the only plugin with a picture Pigments.

Analog Lab doesn’t have a NKS version unless you use the unofficial one from Freelance

Yeah for Analog Lab there is no NKS from Arturia for it, mostly I believe because it is designed as the quick browser for their own keyboards but because many wanted to use it for fast sound selection I developed a library for it here:

There is. Any product that has both NKS 1 and NKS 2 can switch between both from the hardware.

They did this quietly some time ago - but the implementations are not yet official, as they have not undergone our QA process and there exist some issues with the maps.

Yeah some of the maps are not great - however it's in ASC so I assume that's as official as it gets?

NKS requires that we officially QA, resolving any issues to ensure a consistent user experience. That has yet to happen, and this shouldn't be in distribution, but it's not the worst thing - we still need to do the work to improve a few of the NKS implementations, but it's usable.

NKS2 integration, and probably the first major instrument outside of Conflux (coming in Kontakt 8) to use wavetables and samples to great effect.2
