Traktor Pro 3.8 still has flashing browser when you load tracks

So do we all need to "purchase" TP4 to get a bug fix? I don't think anyone should have to pay for something that is faulty. I am not interested in the new features TP4 has; I just want the flashing browser to stop flashing and don't think it right that I should have to pay for something that shouldn't happen in the first place. I spent around £700 for my S4MK3 that came with TP3 and I think that amount of money should entitle to me to bug-free software. NI should bring out a hotfix for TP3.

I am using TP 3.8. I would be happy to revert back to a previous build if the flashing went away as this flashing is just so frustrating. If NI could upload an older version I could use that for now for a temporary fix.

No, it won't entitle you to bug-free software. Simply because bug-free software does not exist. Apparently Traktor 3.8 works for you and does everything you want except for the refreshing browser. There might be a future 3.x update but the main focus is now on TP4.

Well I bought the S4MK3 in 2018 and in 2024 I have a bug that has now been conveniently fixed in an update that we all have to pay for. I can see why people would pay for new features but not for a bug fix that should have been fixed a long time ago.

Does anyone know how I can get version 3.4 back so that I can test it for flashing? I deleted all but 1 of the previous versions as they were taking up too much space. I would very much appreciate your help everyone. Thanks in advance.

Thanks @Alex Dutch but the 3.4 version there is not Traktor Pro, just the original Traktor I am guessing going off the date (2008). I do not see any way to download Traktor Pro 3.4.

Also where has the Traktor update status page gone? (where it lists all the bug fixes and added features). I would like to see what the differences are between 3.4 and 3.8. Thank you.

If you open the TP3 release notes in Native Access it has all changes.

Thanks for your reply. The top link provides a link to 3.4.2 but it is for Mac only. How come NI don't give a link to Windows as well?

Good question. I think you can also contact NI support to get older installers.
