I'm having the same problem that there is no xml file, just pal.db

I've submitted a ticket, but good lord! this is do or die for some of us musicians with a deadline.

I deleted the XML file and it did not work. I'm still missing instruments. I have been making music on computers for over 25 years and have never ran into a situation where I loaded a song and an instrument I have paid for said it could not find files—let alone been told to restart my computer after deleting files multiple times. This is like Windows 95 era bug. When are you going to fix this insane bug??

Support wants me to download an NI Support Tool app from GOOGLE DRIVE, run it, export a zip, and send the zip to support so they can analyze it? NO. I'm not doing this. NI needs to figure this out ASAP and release a maintainance release. This is nuts in 2024. I'm about to be done with NI forever at this point

Same Issue here I believe. I do not see any XML file in the location they mentioned.

This has made me unable to do work! Please address this ASAP !

This morning my libraries are now all visible in Native Access. I didn't do anything to the computer since the original issue started.

Very disconcerting as far as stability and knowing your tools are there when you need them ugh.

Having the same issue and Native Access is completely broken now with several Library items appearing with blank names. It also appears that the actual instrument files have been removed from my external drive which means I will have to download over 1 TB of data again. This is terrible.

If this is the issue outlined in this thread, you don't need to re-download, have you tried deleting the xml file? In the case that didn't fix it, feel free to contact our support here: https://bit.ly/NI_support_NA

I've just encountered this issue. Bought Ultimate 14, then picked acoustic went walkies…and despite NA showing it as installed…it doesn't show up in Kontakt 6. I can't update to 7 on this mac…but Picked Acoustic was there before I installed…..and I've got projects using it….Frustrating.

Hey all, the latest Native Access version (3.12.0) should fix it. Please update Native Access or install it from here: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/native-access-2/

Well geez, after hours of lost time I realized it was posted right here (was looking in the wrong forums). The latest NA isn't working for me, empty patch lists/browsers everywhere. (Battery, Kontakt, KK) Can still load old projects just fine. Please help!!
