    I don't know about ex-fat, but I remember having HUGE issues some years ago after I format my main drive with case sensitive option enabled. Many files were not found and I was obliged to use spotlight each time I load an instrument. So I was just obliged to format again my OS drive.

    I guess ex-fat could lead to the same kind of issues : it's a partition format that is never used for system drives, but only to share files between Mac and Windows.

    Stop making excuses and talking nonsense. It's ridiculous that a company like Native Instruments is still spewing the same garbage about Apple Silicon in 2024.
