Tips: What to do if Maschine Plus is stuck on startup screen

Thank you for responding to my words. I've been communicating with NI, but no resolution.
The one time it worked, I did a reset and got stuck in infinite loading again.
So I couldn't update the machineplus I have now, and of course I don't know what version it is. Is it possible to know the version in controller mode?

As I’m just another user I can’t give you to same kind of support NI could and should.
What I do no is that the firmware updater (this is separate from the software update) does show some information. As it needs to be run in controller mode, you could try it and see what information it shows before you update it.
Firmware should be on 0.19

I have been having the same problems. I finally got it loaded after 20 attempts. Then I updated and it doesn’t work again. Stuck on loading. Controller mode works.
I talked with support and they wanted me to send it in at my own expense. Seems unnecessary as it does work sometimes…and seems like a software issue.

Did you try another SD card? The way you describe it could be a memory issue. Internal or SD card.
And did you try to start it without the USB cable connected?
Again, I’m not a NI support professional and it really sucks that a big company is not willing to investigate this free of charge. They know some Maschines have these kind of issues.

I bought machineplus because of standalone, but this is really stressing me out.

I appreciate the concern, but I'm already taking tickets and We're exchanging problems and solutions.. Do I need to do it again?
I did what NI told me to do and it didn't work, so I sent them a description of the problem and I'm waiting. I sent this over the weekend and they haven't responded. I'm checking community threads while I wait for a response. Please tell me what's wrong. NI's responses make it sound like I'm doing something wrong. I've only had it a few days, and the STANDALONE MODE doesn't work properly. I just want STANDALONE to work.

Same problem...stuck at " M+ is starting"
Seems to happen every time i update my M+,
The last time with the 1.4 version i had to reboot m+ several times and then worked...
Now with the last update 1.5, it's stuck by 2 days....i tried everything, but it's still stuck

Yes, but when i power on M+ , it's still stuck on "m+ is starting"....

I feel bad because many people are having the same problem.
I've been trying to fix it for two months and the only way to do it is to replace the device. I hope you don't have to go through this and contact your local dealer or NI for a replacement or return.
