Two bugs with Komplete Kontrol 3.3.2

1) Komplete Kontrol freezes if presets are changed from any instrument. Preset changes work if changed from Komplete Kontrol patch change.

2) Battery crashes Komplete Kontrol 100% of the time. I have reinstalled both Battery and Komplete Kontrol, and deleted plist's. The problem remains.

    re 1) are you referring to Kontakt instruments, or something else?

    This happens on all instruments.

    These bugs are new.. All instability started on the last update.

    Regarding 1. we already have identified a similar bug (KBDSW-7912) where the GUI of certain Kontakt libraries is extremely slow to load (up to several minutes). I suspect this would be related. It only happens with certain Kontakt instruments (like Ashlight). When you say all instruments do you mean it's the same for Massive or FM8?

    Regarding 2. We also have an identified bug (KBDSW-7913) where Komplete Kontrol would crash Logic when Battery 4 is loaded and the UI is closed. Is it the same behaviour?

    Actually I was able to reproduce the bug in Komplete Kontrol in standalone. Load a Battery kit, then load another kind of instrument. Crash. I've added it to the bug report.

    About my first issue.. It does not matter what instrument is loaded, NI, or other.. When I change patches from the top everything works as expected. If I change patches from the instrument, when you go back to the main menu and load another instrument, the UI freezes on the previous instrument. You have to restart Komplete Kontrol..

    Are they Kontakt instruments though? That’s a known bug but there is no report of this happening for anything else.

    If it is the Kontakt related bug try minimising and restoring the Komplete Kontrol window - it’s a graphics issue so that forces the GUI to refresh

    All NI Instruments, Arturia, Korg, Spitfire, U-He, and Omnisphere

    This GUI issue is the same with all of these…

    I can't reproduce this behaviour. Tried Zebra, Pigments and several other Arturia plugs. Something must be different on your system. Are you using an external monitor? What model?

    Does Komplete Kontrol have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

    Also Omnisphere does not have official NKS support.

    Ok that’s new, I’m not seeing that and you’re the first person afaik to report this so there may be something happening that is more specific to your system

    Have you got the latest Kontrol firmware?

    When you say ‘Preset changes work if changed from Komplete Kontrol patch change’ I presume you mean from the keyboard? That is very similar to the reported bug, except that was just affecting Kontakt instruments (or appeared to be, maybe it’s also some plugins?)

    Does minimising and restoring the window make the preset update and can you hear the preset having been changed even if the GUI is lagging?

    Yes, Komplete Kontrol has full disk access.

    I have two monitors + the laptop screen. The main monitor is a Dell P2415Q via mini DVI IO Data port expander, and the second monitor is a Samsung U32J59x via HDMI from MacBook Pro directly.

    Try changing the preset from the plug's library manager, then go to Komplete Kontrol main page, and change instruments. when you go back to the plugin view, it still shows a frozen view of the previous instrument, but the new sound is from the current instrument.

    Note: I don't use the S61 to drive Komplete Kontrol patches and instrument selection. I much prefer using the plugin window on Kontrol Kontrol via the Mac..

    Sure but is there a difference if you load from the keyboard?
