@KME Hi! Don't worry and Thank you! But actually when I open the file with TextEdit on Mac OS, the text it shows me is literally "7º¬A:¡=ò∏T )N†X˘/é˘Kê)é·∏Ωoü?ST ›∆Æ° “*p¿ ÿê kx 4ZáéÖ" with these strange characters. As you can see in this image.

You may be right. I downgraded to Ventura and still the same issue. On the demo, shouldn't you get a message saying that you can't open a user setting rather than there was an error loading it?

I'm seeing the same problem. As suggested, replacing 'Guitar Rig 4' with 'Guitar Rig 7' in TextEdit seems to work. HOWEVER:

1 There is no way I'm going to do this manually, one by one.

2 I don't trust that it won't cause some future underlying compatibility issue.

3 More importantly, the vast majority of my presets are un-editable like @diego-sala's.

I'm on Ventura. I've tried both "Import Guitar Rig 6 Presets" via Preferences and "Import" (a single preset) via the File menu. Tried in standalone, AU, VST3.

I face the same issue using macos (sonoma) and Guitar Rig 7. Is there any fix available?
