- No internal midi routing (not even VSTi chaining)
- limited 16 channels midi/in out as VST
- No MPE
Maybe OK for loops or basic playing. But, these are not my expectations. I have (blindly) bought Maschine mostly as a user friendly NKS controller and I have never thought that a serious company in the audio industry will miss internal midi routing for so long!
I don't talk bout others missing compositions tools because, if the above points would have been supported, there are dedicated tools to generate the composition.

I keep finding posts like this on reddit, so obviously I am not the only person who cares about stuff like this.
So, if you want to have Patterns in 3/4 or 7/4 you just have to adjust the Pattern length and for 11/8 adjust Pattern length with with Shift pressed. What is the problem?

What do you mean by VSTi chaining? 1 Pad triggering 2 Instruments? You can do that, by either linking 2 Pads in the Pad Mode menu or by sending MIDI out from Pad to another, so there is MIDI Routing, what we don't have is MIDI Out directly from Plugins (kills the use of any generative MIDI Plugins).
16 Channels is a VST2 limitation, AUv3 and VST3 technically allow more by using multiple ports but NI hasn't implemented it, then again not even JUCE (framework used by devs to make most plugins out there nowadays) supports it... Not an excuse, just saying...

You also keep ignoring the fact that it's very possible to use several time signatures in a Maschine project, and polyrythmic patterns as well.

How can you use several time signatures in a Project? All I found are project global settings.
