Sounds like an excellent idea.

I wonder if, with a little work, threads could be classified by category (e.g. oscillators, delay, phase modulation...).

Maybe the NI team can leverage AI to extrapolate only the useful information out and toss the rest in the trash. I wonder what percent of the total is worth saving of millions of comments if filtering out deprecated/outdated software, expired topics, complaints, duplicate questions, et al.

No, we use the whole thing. More information are good enough. If some cut it in pieces it isn't complete.
