How best to build an aleatoric groovebox?
I've got this idea for a randomising 'groovebox' thing for generating techno type stuff real fast. Wishlist: 1. SNAPSHOTS. Gotta have some quick way to save every parameter and recall them 2. Randomise: Everything, or just one synth, or one sequencer pattern 3. Euclidean patterns, scales, microtuning would all be a bonus.…

Variable slope filters
Would be nice to see it done. Seems it's always a choice between 1 2 or more poles. I've never seen a continuous 3db or 9 db per octave filter. Always 6 12 18 etc. Are they out there?

Reactor has a read only module but do they have one that can be written to also.
Wanted to have a midi pitch lookup table that can hold de-tuning information for each midi note. Mainly wanted it to blend with some sample piano's that are slightly out of tune or stretch tuned. It would be nice to adjust the pitch of each note played to match that of the sampler and store it in a read/write memory…

Record parameter changes from a midicontller?
I know I can do this in my daw but like to do it in Reaktor. It´s possible right?

The automation module.
I know there are blocks with automation recording but still I want to be able to build my own automation and fully understand it. First input is "Touch-state" and I don't understand it. The others I understand. If I would control it with a knob or ramp etc I send it to the value input. Also there is no explanation what the…

How to get Yamaha DX7 style phase modulation in Reaktor Primary?
I'm trying to get a phase modulation going to use as an effect rather than a synth. I've made a few things and copied salamander's video on youtube but I couldnt get the right effect. Phase mod is a bit difficult for my head to grasp and wondering if some else has mastered this already and can shed some light on me. Cheers…

How to create a low pass filter on an additive synth?
I'm working on an additive synth and I'm struggling with creating LP/HP filters. I've got a basic setup where it will amplify the harmonics to a 0 or 1 level creating a cutoff that is all or nothing, essentially a brick wall cutoff, but I'm struggling at trying to get the filter cutoff to fade out harmonics gradually to…

Leslie Horn emulation
There are many factors to consider when emulating the rotating horn. The simple things like and 800 hz HPf is basic. The doppler can be done by delaying the horn and modulating the delay. The pan is a basic procedure too. The harder more complicated items are the flare and frequency response of the horn. Unfortunately the…

Reading the building with primary manual.
Hi until the chapter "building a advence stesequencer" on page 85 or something I had no problem understanding because to this point it's like a hardware modular. I need help understanding the multi display module and when it says it can contain objects, what defines a object in this case? Also it gets a bit abstract and…

Legato Style
Hi to current programmers. I need to add a Portamento (Glide) feature to my virtual synth in Reak tor. However, I'm unable to figure out how to get it to legato (retrigger of notes are bypass during notes overlapping). Can anyone help in this matter? Macro image is attached to message.

A Few Feature Requests: Additional Functions to the mouse area module and more.
I am copying this over from the old forum as I don't want this to get lost in the transition, these are the big ones for me personally. 1 - It would be great if the mouse area module had some output ports for modifier keys like Shift, Command and option (Mac) and their equivalents on windows. Shift can be used as a fine…

Sample layers
I've been working on a synth/sampler for learning purposes and have come to the point where I want to layer two samples on top of each other. I load them both in the sample map, give them the same key/velocity ranges, and when I play a note I only hear one of the samples. Can reaktor not play two samples that overlap each…

Noise when turning knob
Hi all I'm creating a very basic module in primary that looks at an incoming clock or trigger input and randomly skips triggers depending on a knob. It's loosely based on this. The input is coming from a blocks clock module, I'm converting that to an event in order to trigger the Randomizer module. That's rectified then…
