Thank you Wolfgang Schneider for hanging out with us for the whole two hours and a half (!!) and thank you all for joining. 🎉 What an awesome conversation!

I think the Transpose knob and the 'Transpose keytrack On/Off' button should both be on the Source panel of a group.
The internal implementation of Transpose could be different depending on the 'Transpose keytrack On/Off' state. Transposing in 'Transpose keytrack On' state could be implemented by transposing the incoming MIDI for that group. But transposing in 'Transpose keytrack Off' state would not transpose the incoming MIDI at all. Instead, it would be implemented by internally moving the zones (and root keys) left/right. That way, there is no need to change anything in the modulation system.
Moving zones left/right does not affect pitch on wavetable sources. Thus, on wavetable sources, transposing in 'Transpose keytrack Off' state would need to internally use tune change in addition to moving zones.

I had to pick up my kids during the live stream session, is it possible to watch a recorded replay somewhere?
0 -
Yes, could not watch it live, can we get a recording or a Q&A transcription/summary at least?
0 -
We don't record these as people constantly jump in and out and this is a complication from GDPR standpoint.
As such we also don't have a transcription of the event either. Sorry!

Maaaaaaaybe. But it seems like a complication and definitely not something the team can prioritize for the foreseeable time. So until then you have the scripting method you could employ (and some libraries already do).

You mean this?

This topic is being thoroughly explored and investigated. Cannot provide any timeframe, though.

It is certainly possible but it is not the immediate priority unfortunately, especially since the scripting method already exists.

Native UI is the technology for building new, scalable and HiDPI enabled performance views of libraries. However, currently it is only available in select products (Factory Library 2, Choir: Omnia, Schema, maybe a couple more I forget) as the tech is still in development and is not fully mature yet.
This tech doesn't affect any current products. A product needs to be updated specifically to work with Native UI, so the onus is on the developer of a particular library if they want to upgrade their products to employ it (once Native UI is publicly available for all developers).
Cannot share any timeframe for this public availability though.
NI cannot and will not predicate how each vendor approaches doing these updates, nor can we share any of their plans (for obvious reasons).

This sort of thing is already kinda-sorta possible because you can specify a default instrument, once you're in instrument edit mode:
This default instrument is then used as a template every time you double-click the empty Kontakt rack to create a new empty instrument, and also when you drop a sample onto the empty Kontakt rack. So if you have an instrument that deals with user zones specifically (for example, Soniccouture's Blanks or maybe Fracture Sounds' Granulate), you could set them as default instrument so you get a more instant result when you just want to drop your stuff into Kontakt.

This sounds like a DAW setting you need to change, it's not a bug in Kontakt. Usually this sort of setting has something to do with resetting controllers on transport start/stop, look for that.

Regarding purging samples on NKS controller pages, this is now left to the developer to decide if they want to include it or not. There is a clean way to implement it, it might just be that some developers are not even aware of that. But as far as development guidelines for NKS, I'm not sure this is an expressly specified limitation as far as I can remember. I'd have to reread all the documentation again :)
As for listing NKSN files in the normal file load menu, request duly noted. It should not be complicated to add that.
