Best sounds for techno on Maschine
Hello all 😀
Can someone explain to me what I need to buy to play full techno tunes with Maschine. The standard sounds of Maschine are unfortunately not really usable. Does anyone have a suggestion on the one hand where I can buy this? And on the other hand what I have to look for there? Not one shots but something else? Instruments? Or do I have to filter for something else? Thank you for your help.

Just do a Google search, you can certainly find samples and loops, but you also may be able to find Massive presets etc... Search "Dark Techno"... and remember, it's not the "sound or Instrument", it is what you do with it!!!😉

Really get into the depths of Maschine. You might not like to hear it, but everything you need is right there. The drum synth alone plus FX should get you there. Get a mobile recorder and sample sounds in you environment. Need a low boom? Drop a boot on the floor. Need a new noise source? Record hairspray sizzle. We all love expansions. But the contents of expansions are just the result of what happens when people use Maschine to its full potential.

@drizzykenneth I love dark techno and IMO Cavern Floor has the darkest techno sounds of all. Would be great to know your reference to understand how deep and dark you wanna be though. The type of techno I like is much much darker as well

I love dark, gloomy and heavy sounds and checked out all the Expansions. Below are my favorites. What genre of music you like to produce with them is up to you.

Thanks guys! You are the best. That is what I was looking for! Grey forge is very cool!! I love dark techno sounds. But also dark sound with lots of melodic in it. Maybe you know the DJ klanglos?? Klanglos is one of my favourites

Yes, I´ve heard new techno Expansion is comming. I might buy it for my four year´s old son. Surprisingly he loves techno (I do not), browses Expansions using Maschine and dances.
