List of Traktor Pro 4.2 issues

Since release there were numerous threads of bug reports so I thought we should sum it all up in one.

  • Crashing issue (in my case, always when using duplicate deck feature and also randomly)
  • Stuttering and crackling when using adaptive refresh rate (Windows only for now)
  • Freezing when using relocate missing track (Mac only)
  • Blurry waveforms without audio
  • High system load when doing nothing for prolonged period of time (tested on Windows by me, another user reported on Intel Mac)
  • Loading only into stopped deck randomly breaks
  • Won't play track if it can't find related stems file (for example in case of deletion, manually unlinking stems helps)
  • Latency issues on S4 MK3 (Windows)

In case I forgot something or luckily haven't experienced myself, feel free to write below.

    Have you tried to force the gpu used on windows, see here :

    In my case it as resolved all the problems (for now).

    I think Traktor 4 has problems handling too long interuptions and cannot recover.

    Another issue: freeze mode simply doesn't function as intended and even worse when you try to combine freeze mode with loops. This was a bug raised back in 2024.....

    Manually setting beat grids is broken, will take some screen shots and show differences to 4.1.1 over the weekend.

    Anyone found the solution to Traktor Pro 4 freezing when using the relocate-function. Mac Os Sequoia 15.5?

    Downgrade to Traktor 4.1 or wait. It is a known issue. Unfortunately no update for almost two months now.

    1. Going into the edit page of a track and hotcues disappear. they reappear if you go back into the page.
    2. The main volume button greys out but reappears and becomes functional when you toggle boost underneath
