Komplete Kontrol 3.40 and Novation LK29 MK4 hardware integration test

The pickup mode in KK should prevent parameter jumps, have you tried with it enabled? Are you using KK standalone or as a plugin within a DAW, if so is that within Ableton? (I'll try it myself with an LK Mk4).

If you want them to sync without any movement then the only way to achieve that is if KK sent out the MIDI data value to the hardware (Which it doesn't). Or NI added MIDI Relative mode mappings (Which as far as i'm it doesn't support). :(

You can set it up in the Komplete Kontrol standalone. Edit → Preferences → MIDI → Choose Takeover mode "Pickup".

Yes but I believe using "Pickup mode + endless rotary knobs" is the most irrational approach. It's highly inefficient and not intuitive. (It makes sense with non-endless rotary knobs only, imo)

Relative control mode of course, you haven't got to worry about pickup or any of that nonsense - it's been around for decades, and is the prefered use of endless rotaries. But KK, for whatever reason, doesn't support it.

True they have their own solution but more so in synth modelling. Their keyboards could still integrate well with Komplete Kontrol and their own products are NKS compatible although with their hardware I'd run it native.

There is a Komplete Kontrol template available for some of Arturia's keyboards (the recent mk3 line of keyboards) in the Arturia MIDI Control Center now. Arturia Support

Not sure if they also get the promised bi-directional communication with Komplete Kontrol though. I surely hope so, as I recently bought a Keylab 49 mk3 (yes, it's a great keyboard).
