Is there a way to force Native Access to install a product from scratch which previously failed?

I purchased Cinematic Studio Solo Strings and tried to install from Native Access on a new Samsung SSD which was not properly formatted. I since fixed the issue and was able to install Cinematic Studio Strings fine. Somehow Native Access thinks CSSS was partially installed (maybe?) but will not allow either the reinstall or uninstall. No files were ever installed from the product in the end. As you see in the screen shot, the only option in the 3 dots menu is release notes. The Locate button is useless, because there is no nicnt file to find. Hopefully this makes sense to someone. Any ideas on how to install it? Can I manually place a nicnt file to help it recreate everything? Thank you!

First thing I would check is if in the Download folder where NA momentarily saves the installation files some corrupted file remained from previous failed download attempt and, in case, delete them

Yes, check on what LIF says above.

If this were a Windows system, there'd be a half-dozen things I could have you check on and do. But it's not, and I'm not all that knowledgeable about where Mac/OS stores things.

    Hello marklandson,

This is a third party Kontakt Library that cannot be downloaded / installed via Native Access.

Native Access is only responsible for authorising the library and locating it for use in Kontakt.

You will first need to download the library from the manufacturer

Once installed, simply follow the steps in this article to add the library to Native Access:

    I hope this helps☺️

Mert_NI, CSSS shows up in my registered products in my NI account and says “Download via Native Access”. Doesn't this mean it should be installed via Native Access? All the other products listed here were available to install via my Native Access app. Also, I'm pretty sure it did allow me to install it initially, but the install failed because of the mistaken format of the SSD. Please advise. Thank you!

Also, I have tried a solution to a similar issue of another user, which did not work….

logging out from Native Access, deleting this file: Library> Application Support> Native Instruments> Service Center > NativeAccess.XML

    and this folder: Users> Shared> Native Instruments> Native Access> ras3

    Restart and re-log in.

Seems like something like this should be the answer, but this sequence didn't solve it.

    Mert_NI,

OK, I did confirm with Cinematic Samples that Cinematic Studio Solo Strings is not downloadable via Native Access and that I need to download as a third party Kontakt Library.

    Thank you very much!
