Over Half My NI Library Needs Repair

Updated Native Access and now, 3/4ths of my Complete 14 CE Library is bricked and needs repair…
I haven't moved any files. Nothing has changed. I just wanted to make some music, now I have to spend the morning/afternoon fixing something that wasn't broken.
In addition, some of my items (almost ALL of my Machine Expansions for starters) will not show up in M3 software. Of the 100+ I own, Maschine 3 sees about 7 of them. Haven't tried in Maschine 2, but I shouldn't have to, as my expectation as a paying customer is for stuff I purchase to… well, work.
Been on this bandwagon with NI for over a decade. I have had issues in the past, but few and far between. Since coming back after an hiatus and upgrading to M+, Komplete 14 CE, Kontakt 8, Traktor 4, Maschine 3… its been a veritable dumpster fire somewhere.
I remember the days when NI stuff just worked. Are those days gone?

Thank you all for your assistance in the matter. I think I have enough information to avoid the issue in the future.
My resolution actions are:
- keep my Macs from going into Sleep State, as this seems to be the overwhelming consensus from the comments provided and, as I only have the one external drive, naming multiple drives with the same name is out of the question.
- Re-seat my external drive in the docking bay I use w/ my Mac Mini to ensure connectivity (entirely possible the drive jostled when cleaning my desk or moving stuff around… or the 2 year old when I wasn't looking)
One final question, from my original screen capture of the Get Info Panel showing the external drive with 2 names (Content Drive and Content Drive 1 under the Names & Extensions drop down). Is it safe to delete that '1' behind Content Drive 1 under the Names & Extensions drop down? Its super weird that certain applications still reference and find Content Drive while others needed to be hand held and walked to the spot they already were at, just with a different address. All is working well at the moment so, it would only be me returning the drive to its original named state BUT, I imagine I might have to do some manual clean up again…

Apparently when you were on hiatus you missed the part about Native Access 2 being a fairly sweeping change necessary to accommodate some significant changes in libraries to better integrate with industry standards across virtual instrument vendors. I can't say it has been a simple or easy transition for everyone but it does affect some older libraries that are no longer supported. For myself it went pretty easy but for some it's been a struggle.
I'd really suggest to open a ticket with NI Support and have them outline the options you need to consider in getting everything back working rather than just stabbing at it and maybe creating more problems.

Actually, the issue is a little more complex. I guess since Native Access has full disk access, it decided to DELETE my Native Instruments application folder on my MacHD. POOF! Gone.
The files are still there, but the Launcher Icon is gone and the paths are all wonky.
I have an external SSD with all the content libraries for all my applications as well in my setup. Native Access refuses to see it now after having no issues at all since initial install of Komplete 14CE. And I'm pretty rigorous.
Also, when Maschine 3 SW launched, I ensured that my entire VST library had no issues (KU14CE, Waves, IK Multimedia, Kilohearts, etc.). Found some issues. Posted in these here forums in an effort to assist in the fallout that inevitably comes from new software product launches/updates and compatibility with all the other stuffs.
Unfortunately, it appears that I'll need to wipe my HD and external and do a fresh install. For me, this is not a massive undertaking, just more of an extremely tedious fiasco and really, salt to the wound considering my personal M+ purchase ordeal, but I digress…
To highlight my year back with NI in this thread would be a frivolous endeavor and a waste of energy and time. Needless to say, I'm rather appalled and dismayed at the stalls and hiccups and rather concerned about the state and future of the M+ and Maschine 3 SW…
And I'm not naive. The world is in a fragile state. I'm a business owner and finding good help while the world crumbles is tall order indeed. My hope is that NI is able to navigate these tumultuous times and find and retain passionate LIVING people (not outsource to A.I.) that understand the depths and breadth of the enormity of the responsibility they shoulder when selling and supporting products for musicians, especially from Native Instruments who, love em or hate em, is an industry standard to many around the world, myself included.
I don't know what it's going to take to reflect that level of professionalism back to us end users, but the current state of affairs does appear rather grim.

@Mert_NI Little quick on the draw with the "Answered" tag…
I was hoping to update this thread with my process of discovery. Currently booting up Maschine 2 to uncover whether or not the missing expansions are there…Generally, the OP has a chance to respond whether or not posts attempting to provide solutions actually do provide a solution.
While I appreciate your attempt and intent, my issue remains. If you could kindly remove the "Answered" tag, that may help me find resolution. Outside of that, I intend to troubleshoot here in this thread as I stumble through my process.
Am I frustrated. Yes, as this will be the 3rd time an update has impaired my Native Instruments content since purchasing KU14CE & Maschine+/Maschine 3. However, I did a Hard Reboot of my Mac and was able to locate the missing Native Instruments Application Folder that is created when KU14CE installed.
So we have some progress there at least at this point. Next up, look at Maschine 2 SW for the missing expansions and report back, that way we know if it's an M2SW or M3SW issue.

So Maschine 2 SW is able to see a few more expansions than Maschine 3 SW.
This is a perplexing little puzzle…

Something else I've discovered, Native Access calls for multiple repairs to applications across my NI library. Oddly enough, some of these apps (Lores for sure) are accessible and functional in Maschine 3 SW, even though Native Access has issues.

I agree with many things you said. Included the “not putting Accepted Answer when we still don’t know if it is the solution”
Now do you understand that is not always easy to “give a little grace/mercy to the team who may not be as proficient”? In that case it was about them not being proficient in GUI and UX because “NI produces and sells music hardware and software” and you seemed not interested in those (fundamental also for music softwares) aspects and in issues some are facing. In your case we could say that we must give grace/mercy cause, being them producer of music softwares, they could be not so proficient in “installation/authorization programs”.
Nothing helps to identify oneself to others’ struggles more than having to struggle yourself

I'll bet you call apples oranges too.

Meanwhile…
I've managed to find a peculiar thing.
My external drive, which I initially named "Content Drive" now has 2 names apparently.
- Content Drive
- Content Drive 1
I've managed to Relocate all the items in Native Access marked for repairs in a ContentDrive1>Users>Shared folder that was automatically created during initial install of Komplete Ultimate 14 CE, except, it was named ContentDrive>Users>Shared…???
Next, is it possible that Native Access renamed this drive? Does Full Disk Access give such permissions? If not, is it possible that a Mac OS update renamed this drive? In the pic above, you can see it appears to have 2 names so, I'm not sure how this happened, only that it has and I have found a solution, at least for the apps, VSTs and instruments from my NI library.
I'll need to further investigate the missing Expansions.

Man… it wasn’t my intention to attack you. Even because, as I said, I agree with many of the things you said.
Nor I’m saying the two things are the same. In your case you are struggling because of technical issues, in their case they are struggling because of decisions taken (and poorly realized GUI).
My point was just about understanding that, even if something doesn’t affect you, it could be affecting somebody else. If you are allergic to apples and someone else is allergic to oranges, it doesn’t matter if they are not the same fruit (or one is more “serious” than the other). You both have issues when facing them
And that we shouldn’t be doing war between us users.
But…since how you took it and how fast you attacked me and downvoted me, I see that it was badly received. And obtained the exact opposite result than the one I wanted.
I apologize and retreat

Calm down bro. I even gave you a "Funny" up vote.
I understand your sentiment and I do love to ponder the intricacies of personal philosophies, however, you did kinda catch me in a panic…
While the lightness or darkness of a GUI and missing one's entire application library (practically) are indeed 'fruit allergies', the former is still able to forage for other fruits, where the latter finds only barren fields.
See, I'm even staying in your analogy to show my good humor and that no personal offense was taken.
And in staying on topic with the thread - - -
The culprit most assuredly is the renaming of my Content Drive to include a '1' in the Names & Extensions portion when viewing the Get Info panel from my previous picture.
I had to manually Relocate all missing library content to this newly named Content Drive 1 in Native Access. Native Access would not bulk find a good portion of the initial ones missing. Again, this issue arose after the most recent Native Access update or a Mac OS update (most recent).

No problem and sorry again

Okay… since I've discovered this weird renaming 'bug' for my external drive, I've noticed that the 'missing' Maschine Expansions all have file paths to the ContentDrive (old, original name) instead of ContentDrive1 (new, renamed).
I'm currently Reinstalling all (over 100) expansions after having changed my location settings in Native Access to point to this 'new' (renamed?) Content Drive 1 from the original Content Drive (without the 1)
Again, I have no idea when this occurred. I've run 2 updates since I noticed the issue today. One was the most recent iOS update and the second was the latest Native Access update.
I guess I'm trying to figure out if either action could effectively rename one of my drives?? Which, is kinda spooky, since I didn't authorize it, nor was I notified of the change.

Hey man, just wanted your eyes on this thread as I've grown to appreciate your knowledge base for some of these things. Specifically if you've ever come across an external drive getting renamed…?
Thanks in advance.0 -
Edit: correction: I saw now you are reinstalling Expansions, not libraries
