Is anyone else running into an issue in which the interface becomes non-responsive when changing presets/instruments?

    This is a known issue with Kontakt not Komplete Kontrol per se (although it occurs in KK) and is fixed already in Kontakt 8 but not yet in Kontakt 7

    The issue is graphics related - if you minimise and maximise the GUI for example, or switch between desktops and back, the correct interface should appear. It has nothing to do with loading times, the library is loading, but just the GUI is laggy and non responsive (because basically it is a still image left in some graphics buffer, not a GUI)

    "non-responsive" has been seen for probably few in the sense that few have had extreme loading times.

    You don't give any hint at all about your computer and OS , but try giving the app long time to load and see if it finish and then become responsive. (extreme load times experienced by a very few I think has even been minutes).

    Otherwise then if you have a bug to report then N.I. has dedicated support for both Kontrol and Kontakt .

    Appreciate the response. For completelness:

    - In the video I clarify that it's not a time-related issue, and that I'm on a Mac Studio M2.
    - I have now had others clarify that it's an issue for them as well, so have reported it as a bug.

    Just waiting for the fix for the "Next Preset" bug now, it frustrates the hell out of me :)

    Personally I just work around it by switching back over the the Instrument listing which still has my current library selected with it's entire list of presets. That way I can both scroll to the next one or select from the entire list of presets and it loads very quickly.

    Problem is it's become a habit of mine, so I keep doing it the way that forces it back to the other instrument and then you hear me say "******" very loud in the studio, it happens quite often 😂

    @Tom Collins Can confirm, fixed it for me, too (I had ensured I'd updated before posting, but looks like the fix came out just after that. Timing!)

    @Kymeia Thanks. I am unable to test in Kontakt 7 (I'm unable to find a way of changing the presets that mimics what I was doing in Komplete), so I can't confirm a fix for that, but hopefully if it's not fixed in 7 yet, it will be soon.

    Sorry about that , but I am generally reluctant to click dropbox links and download unknown downloads.

    I had noticed some GUI issue discussion in passing but had not noticed that it were connected to apparent loading times. My apologies for my ignorance on the topic and great that Kymeia and Tom Collins were better informed than I .

    It doesn't (didn't) happen in Kontakt on its own, only when hosted in Komplete Kontrol. So I'm guessing the fix required both the latest update to Kontakt 7 (released a few days ago) and today's update to KK for it to work.
