Why is Monark Sound not saved
Hello, I have a problem with Maschine+ and I hope you can help me. When I save a project and play the bass via Monark plus automation, when I reload the project the selected sound in Monark plus the automation is no longer selected. I hear some standard sound. Do I have to set anything when saving so that it saves the generated sound? Best regards, Alexander

What do you mean by that? Is Monark loaded but not the Preset you used or is Monark not loaded at all?
What are the versions of your M+ OS/Maschine software and Firmware (you find those three version numbers under Settings)? What’s the versions of Reaktor and Monark (you find the versions under Settings in the list of Installed libraries).
Has saving of Monark sounds in Projects (or as Sounds) ever worked for you?

Hello, that doesn't happen with every preset. I could use "A Train" by Monark as an example. I play it normally, then save the project and the next time I load it I have a completely different sound, even though the same preset is actually loaded. If I now switch to a different preset and back to "A Train", the sound is correct again, but the automation has disappeared.
OS: 1.5.1.0, Ver.: 2.17.5 (R0), Firmware 0.1.9
Reaktor 6: 6.5.1
Monark: 1.3.1
Supposedly everything is up to date.1 -
I meant I recorded it normally…not play

I would like to post a link to the little clip that illustrates the problem, but I'm not able to do so yet because I'm probably too new here.

Everything looks up to date, indeed.
I guess the automation is deleted because the different presets use incompatible mapping of parameters.
Monark (which is a Reaktor Ensemble) not loading properly could be caused by Reaktor license issues. Which can only be resolved by the licensing support team.
Have you tried contacting NI support?

Yes, I have already contacted support. The employee in the chat forwarded it to a machine expert. So far, no response has been received.
Here is the link to the clip. It's not the best quality, but I hope you can see what the problem is.0 -
The Modulation is still there but the preset itself seems to be reseting to innit state. I never seen this before, let us know what support says.

I will! Could you maybe check if the same thing happens to you or do you not have M+?

I do that all the time. Monark is my go-to synth on the M+. Settings and automation are always recalled fine.

OK. It's really strange how this works with my device. Let's see if support can help. But thank you for trying to help me, Ozon!

I just checked again. It's just that when you reload "A train" by Monark, for example, all the parameters are changed and the sound is completely different. I think I'll send the device back and order a new one to see if it gets better.

Then most probably there’s a problem with that preset. I‘ll try to check that on mine.
@D-One @Jeremy_NI may you could try that as well to confirm.

OK, that would be great if you could try it. But it affects some other presets too.

TL;DR: I cannot reproduce the problem, see procedure below.

So I did a test starting a Project from scratch. I found that I have two different Monark presets called A Train, one from the Bumpin Flava Expansion and the other probably a standard preset of Monark.
In Group A, I loaded the Monark A Train preset on Pad 1 and made a 4 bar bass line Pattern. In Group B, I made a basic four on the floor 1 bar Pattern with a Kick Drum synth.
Saved the Project as Test Monark A Train. Created new Project. Loaded Test Monark A Train. Monark sound was still ok.
Recorded some Monark filter cutoff automation.
Saved the Project as Test Monark A Train. Created new Project. Loaded Test Monark A Train. Monark sound was still ok. Filter automation was still as recorded.
Then I copied Pad 1 to Pad 2 and loaded the Bumpin Flava A Train preset. Sound is slightly different and one octave lower as expected, but the automation is indeed gone. Notas expected. Recorded new automation for filter cutoff, resonance and feedback (Monark is so much fun).
Saved the Project as Test Monark A Train. Created new Project. Loaded Test Monark A Train. Monark sound was still ok. All automation on both sounds was still as recorded.
Did some more tinkering while having fun, saving and loading the Project, and everything was recalled properly.

Thanks for the test and the information. I tried it with the second "A train". The deeper one. It's enough if I just record it with automation, save it and then reload it. Then the sound is different, but the automation is gone. Very strange. But if it's OK for you, then it must be my device. I've now ordered a second machine. I hope it works there.
