Why is Monark Sound not saved

Hello again, I have just ordered another Maschine+ and checked whether it is the same. And indeed, after I did the latest update to 1.5.1.0, I had the same problems. My workflow again. I record the deeper "A train" with or without automation, save, new project, load the saved project again and everything is out of alignment. That can't be true. Unbelievable. Bass Berlin 2 too for example.

Is it perhaps because I have the Maschine+ version, which has a slightly different lettering. With this little "N" behind it? Unfortunately, the support from neither Native nor Thomann has been very helpful so far.

I also tried and cannot reproduce. I just started a fresh project, recorded some notes + modulation and reloaded the project just fine.

You bought a second M+ just to try if it would work? 😱 Dang, don't do that, talk to NI's tech support.

Can you zip and upload your project to see if it loads fine for us?

What kind of SD Card are you using? If it's the original one then try a decent full size SD, Sandisk Extreme Pro for example, it's about 20$ for 128GB at 100/200 MB/s.

Thanks for the answer! I've already put in a new SD card. Exactly the Sandisk Extreme that you recommended. I've already contacted support, of course, but unfortunately they haven't found a solution yet. I'm trying to add a test project. The preset "A train" is on the 3rd pattern. This now sounds completely different than the original before I saved it. At least for me.

But did you try to reproduce this on a fresh project? Without anything else other than that one preset+modulation… You need to reproduce it the simplest way possible so support can know the steps.

Oh wow. So, if I open your project on the computer it's all good, both in Maschine 2 and 3 but if I open in the M+ I can see that the parameters are not set to the same values… even tho it's the exact same project… Very strange, you might have stumbled on a rare bug…

I sent the support the video, which I also posted here. They seem to have recognized the problem. However, they don't seem to know how to solve it themselves. I'm just surprised that it happens on 2 devices for me and everything is fine for you. I seem to have the same version. Very strange. And the same thing happens with some other presets too.

Ok, the difference between desktop and standalone is interesting. I guess your M2 is 2.18.4, while the M+ is on 2.17.5.

I remember there were a couple of issues in the early 2.18 releases regarding VST loading which were fixed with the last release.

Interesting is that the parameters on your screenshot of the desktop are identical to the values stored in the preset, while the ones on the M+ look tweaked (with an automation indicator for Resonance).

The question now is: Which value situation was actually stored?

That's the problem. The parameters only change on the Maschine+. And if so, then I would look for the error in the version of the Maschine+. I wonder if it is possible to downgrade? Because with the new device that I ordered specifically for testing, everything worked fine until I did the software update.

So, you say you didn’t adjust any of the parameters on the M+ and saved the preset as is? And the screenshot of the desktop version shows the expected values?

Then why is it happening on both of your M+, and neither for @D-One nor for me on the M+ with the same software installed… 🤔

That surprises me too...But d-one seems to have the same problem when he writes that the parameters on his + are wrong compared to the software.

The only thing I can think of is that the project is either corrupted somehow or some other step lead to this issue. To confirm or deny OP would need to reproduce the issue and isolate it as much as possible to eliminate variables, the project he sent has a bunch of extra stuff..

It's actually very easy to reproduce. For example, I load "A train" by Bumpin flava, record a sequence, save it and load it again. Then all the parameters are changed. Always. No matter which project. It's exactly the same with "Bass Berlin 2" and some other presets. And I can't really imagine that it's not the same for you, since I tested it with 2 devices. Very strange indeed.

Indeed quite the mystery… Both me an Ozon are in the Beta, so our M+ could have some extras, but if your issue was common there would be tons of threads about it, this is the most puzzling part… why is it only you!? And even worst, on two different M+'s…

Ok, but as reported earlier in this thread, I did exactly that, repeatedly, and didn’t run into any issues. This is quite the mystery! Something must be different.

Oh. Do you own a full Reaktor license or just the Reaktor license that comes with the M+?
