I keep finding thereads like this with people complaining about 30 second startup times. For me, it takes 2 or 3 minutes for the latest version of Kontakt to start in Cuabse 13, and it takes another 215-25 MINUTES to be able to open the Kontakt browser. And I've made exceptions in Windows Defender for Kontakt and Cubase, and I don't have active back-up software contantly running in the background, and I have 128 GB of RAM. I do have many, many libraries spread out over about 8 SSD drives, but really, a program like this that so many professional composers depend on should not have this difficulty scaling up to this level. It's all but unusable for me, after 20 years of use and $10,000 invested in libraries. I would write to NI technical support, but the web site is inoperative. (That's a bad sign when a software company's tech support site doesn't work.) I am incredibly frustrated.

I meant to write 15-to 25 minutes for the browser to open, not 215.

On windows 11 Intel i9 with 64 gb of ram it takes about 2 mins also. After I load my first kontakt library the second and there after takes about 15 to 20 sec or less. Same with kontakt.. I will have to check my daw settings again I did run an update after 8 months.. some might have changed on my OS.. other software loads fast..

I had the same problem and stopped using Kontakt 7.
The tech support guys are doing the best they can, the problem is not with them, it's the new direction the company has taken for some time now.
It's not the big, reliable company it used to be anymore, it's more like Aliexpress now than anything else.
Same goes for iZotope, it's disgusting at the moment with their sales policies, add-ons with direct advertising for you to upgrade and improve... it's disgusting.
Luckily I still have my Kontakt 6, which works like a charm.
    Regards and my condolences

There are general complaints of the Kontak7 application or plug-in being particularly slow to open (more than 30 seconds). The Kontakt team are working on a fix for that and an update addressing this issuea should come in the coming weeks.

Your issue seems to be slightly different and also worse. Please get in touch with our support specialists here: https://bit.ly/NI_support_kontakt

When you say our support site doesn't work what happens exactly when you try and contact us? I've tried all the links again and they are working, there were some recent changes but it's definitely working. Maybe you should read this: How to get in touch with our Customer Care 📧

I finally got Kontakt 7 working faster. It appears that when an old hard drive with seldom used but registered libraries was not plugged in, it was taking Kontakt around 30-45 minutes to search through all of my drives and then finally start. I REALLY think the program should realize that a drive is missing and start anyway with the "library not found" notice that it eventually displays anyway.

I finally saw the chatbots at the far bottom right of the support pages. I really think it would help a lot if these were more prominent! They are such small, unassuming little icons that I can't believe I'm the only one unable to figure out how to contact you guys through them.
