Who would you love to see an Artist Expansion from, or a collaboration with?

Some great suggestions and a lot of names I haven't heard of or investigated yet. Some legends mentioned too who might feel too big to make an Expansion, but we can but hope.
DJ Supreme (Hijack) and Son Of Noise are still making UK Hip Hop/Brit Hop, which is a hard, dark, uptempo vibe most popular from the late 80s-early 90s for those that missed it, often with some sick scratching. I'm blown away by most of their modern productions, which sometimes sound like they've been made in the future.

A man with similar tastes here and all still active and some who have made a pack in the past, but not put out their best tools yet 😎

Oh, I haven't seen this topic before. That's an interesting question!
I'd love to have Mike Shinoda expansion. He is my favourite artist ever and I'm sure he'd be hyped to collaborate with Native Instruments on an expansion. He's a Maschine and Komplete Kontrol user. Mike has his own unique style and would provide plenty of original sounds.
I absouletly adore Paul Meany's skills when it comes to production as well. His contribution on some Twenty One Pilots songs is insane. His potential expansion would be super interesting, with a lot of different kinds of ear candies, I suppose.
There are a few YouTubers that would be good fits as well - Andrew Huang, TAETRO, maybe Jef Gibbons.

Breaka or Bakey, any of that new broken breakbeat would be an instant purchase. DJ Shadow or Bonobo would be epic. I'm all over the map with my tastes lol

I know this is a bit unpopular opinion, but it would be great to make a collaboration with the screamo band Jeromes Dream!

Personally, I'd rather see the "sampling room" get traction and upvoted "stuff" get added as a free download inside of Native Access.
The same goes for any instruments/effects found in the reaktor library and kontakt patches. Less emphasis on selling little sample packs and more emphasis on getting people actually sampling and creating their own stuff.
Give me that "ozon boom bap kit 3"

I wound want to see Hit Boy

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I "grew up" having access to too many sample CDs etc.. The last thing I want to add to my Maschine+ are more Expansions (unless they contain only synth presets I can use as starting points for tweaking further). Creating sounds from scratch is becoming a lost art, and that is taking the power from the end users in a way.. It's not healthy to encourage reliance on 3rd party "sound fodder"
Apologies for the rant! And I dont mean to judge anyone's music making methods, you do you

I hear ya, but there's a lot more to Expansion packs than just samples. There are usually quite a few synth presets and there's the patterns as well as the groups which usually sound great together and can be a good or indeed a great starting point for creating our own patterns.
The patterns show how the artist constructs the tracks too. Some are simplistic but some are more complex and can be an helpful learning tool for making certain genres of music that had a bit of mystique to them.
There's the percussive stuff too, besides the synth and the familiar typical drum machine hits.
Not everyone is blessed with good music theory, perfect pitch and indeed endless time to while away hours and days creating patches as i'm sure most people will have jobs and lives away from music. I used to be happy sampling my own sounds and making patches when the days seemed to last forever in my youth, but I seem to have much less time these days and with these expansions I can really start creating quite professionally sounding ideas pretty quickly.

TBH I can see both points of view. The expansions are OK, but do get a bit samey in terms of genres and content type.
It would have been nice to see some synth preset expansions for the Maschine+ as for some time now, most of the stuff being released is plugin instruments for the computer software.
I bought the Maschine+ as a standalone device. Aside from the sample based expansions, has anything been released specifically for M+ users? I don't think so.

Might be pretty cool to do an expansion with someone like Disclosure!
or how about a veteran like Derrick Carter or Theo Parrish

I agree, Expansions catered exclusively to Maschine+ might be cool. Like just a pack full of presets for all the synths and fx onboard, and MIDI grooves like what you can buy for Addictive Drummer 2
But fair enough, like I said, anyone loving the more sample-based "genre-specific" Expansions, that aint no skin off my back. "It's ony music"
