No sound when using VSTs in Maschine Mikro

Is there a way to get my VSTs to work in Maschine Mikro while in Chord Mode? For example, when I load Hybrid Keys, I'm only able to hear the sound in the preview window but when i play pads no sound comes out in any of the modes (pad, keyboard,chords) but i can see the keys light up. I'm on version 2.12 of Maschine and Mac OS - Big Sur.

Sounds like an audio routing issue, have you checked that you have the proper audio device selected in Preferences?

Yes, that's all good. I can play anything from "All Sounds" Menu but nothing for "All Instruments

post a screen shot of the Kontakt Output panel as it may not be configured properly.

that was it!! thanks so much, updated my settings and now i have sound
