U-He says they're NKS compatible, and I'm using the recent release. https : //u-he.com/products/diva

The integration with the Mk3 seems fine, just doesn't seem to want to show up in the KK browser

It's listed in Library -> Factory as well

Yes I know but needed to check you had actually installed the NKS presets. The NKS2 implementation is built into the plugin so that's why it shows in the keyboard, but the browser still needs actual NKS presets to browse. It's an option in the custom install

That makes sense that it would only show NKS3 compliant plugins, but it would be nice if the UI made that more clear? Perhaps an option to toggle between NK3 or both NK2 and 3? It's more than just Diva though, the Strat Cello also does not appear in KK either and I think a few others. As a new user to NI instruments, it's all just been confusing and frustrating jumping between KK and K7 without understanding why these differences exist and what the differences even are. This instrument only shows up in K7, so I use K7, but now I can't use ARP or Play Assist, because that's only in KK. Very frustrating. [end rant]

Do you know where the NKS presets actually reside? To me it seems like something is not being installed in the correct directory. I checked both paths mentioned in the Diva user guide in the section "What to do if Diva doesn't show up in Komplete Kontrol / Maschine." and both looked as expected. I compared the XML to Arturia Pigments and nothing jumped out at as being radically different. There were several 100 .nksf files in /Library/Application\ Support/u-he/Diva/NKS/Diva

Everything is checked by default using the Diva 1.4.7 Installer, but that may be because it's already installed? I did install the NKS Factory Previews for Diva following the u-he instructions as well.

Well I fixed the issue. Now I'm even more confused though as I had tried this before and had manually removed every komplete kontrol related file on my MacOS and was still having issues. But for whatever reason it worked this time.

I ended up deleting my komplete.db3 files for Komplete Kontrol. I can't post the link but if you google "My KOMPLETE KONTROL Browser is Empty or Incomplete" you will find the steps

One thing I did different this time was delete the database in the Browser Data folder, so perhaps that was the issue. In the end I solved this by closing Komplete Kontrol, deleting these two files in my home directory:

    ~/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Komplete Kontrol/Browser Data/komplete.db3

    ~/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Komplete Kontrol/komplete.db3

And restarting Komplete Kontrol. Now Diva, Zebra and the Strad Cello are all showing up in KK. Thank you @Kymeia for helping with this!

Library/Application\ Support/u-he/Diva/NKS/Diva is the right path. This might be a question more for u-he support but can you check if that path is in Komplete Kontrol settings/library - it may be it wasn’t added by the installer, if it is there select it and click rescan, that might work

The thing is, also on $10k M2 Ultra Mac Pro’s it could possibly spike. Not all users -but still a lot- encounter cpu spikes with Komplete Kontrol 3.0.0 and 3.0.1. They have to bug down the exact issue that’s causing those spikes and hopefully come up with a fix

Yeah you are right, the Kontrol Mk3 has absolutely NO Maschine software or hardware Integration at all! Only Generic basic Midi. No Mixer controls, no library browsing, no Transport, no Controlling Group or Sounds, no play assist, no plugin control, makes absolutely NO sense to me!

Maschine Plus with KK mk2 Combo was the closest thing to having a NI standalone keyboard. Not having bring a Laptop to play gigs outdoors is the best (or any gig)

Oh man. That sucks. Hopefully though it is a sign that they are working on a new Maschine software or an all in one solution where the Mk3 will be compatible. I can't see how they plan to shop the thing otherwise, given the amount of limitations or issues currently reported.

I installed 3.1 last night and eventually got my 3rd party NKS stuff to load after a rescan of the library file…However, the new browser in software is dreadful, a complete unintuitive dogs breakfast. I will persevere for the meantime, but I do not understand why in this day and age it is impossible to resize the window to be able to get a good overview of my instruments. I have Komplete UCC and KK UI is so cramped it’s like painting the hall through the letterbox - surely it’s not unreasonable to want to be able to expand the UI to see as many icons as possible. Recently bought Falcon 3.0 and I’m impressed. The loss of Maschine controls from the Mk3 is also a worry - does this spell the end of Maschine too? If KK isn’t improved I may not update Komplete again and just ride things out with my Mk2 until it dies. None of this is ‘progress’.

Did you mean 3.01? Because that's the one that shows up for me in Native Access. Thanks!

I didn't know they have changed KK so much, and last night I decided to update just because.

Oh boy.. what happened here? It is HORRIBLE now. I don't know exactly what is enfuriating me, but it feels slower, much harder to navigate presets, and it crashed Reaper (something that NEVER happened before).

    Incredibly disappointed.

Well...at least I know it's not just me.

Yeah KK S88 Mk2 and KK 3.1.0 doesn't work at all anymore. Can't find/won't load ANY VST's, NI or NKS.

    Garbage.

It's really garbage. The sales process only mentions compatible DWA, never non compatible DWA. Emphasizing that your software is amazing, but it forces you to restrict it. I can understand that this company is trying to prevent theft, but it doesn't prevent theft, but it protects the hearts of its supporters M32 A25 A49, as a basic model, doesn't it deserve to have a sematone transfer in the software. The functional logic of the software's tonality is puzzling, giving a logic that goes against semitone transfer centralization. It is anti human thinking and raises questions to the authorities, but it is only due to incompetence that it is naturally rejected
