Inspiration is such a volatile element, yet the essence to the process of creation. It comes and goes, and we hardly ever know when.
We all have our personal favourites when it comes to studio gear and plugins. However, triggering a new perspective is possible by adopting new composition bits.
Let us know which NI software or hardware you recently bought to spark new creativity and why.

My latest purchase was secondhand Maschine Jam. The second one.
Reasons?
1) It is great brother of my Studio/Mk3. Valuable tool.
2) Not produced anymore. What if my Jam No1. dies? I need solution for that case. And no Jam Mk2 on the shelves, so far.

I put 2 songs in my music website: the song on top is called “Spiritually High” (uses Native Instruments Session Horns; I did everything in this song), and the second one down is “Falling From the Skyyy” (no NI on this song). The second song has Jeff Trumpold doing the rhythm guitars, electric bass, and the drums; I did the vocals, lyrics, and the lead guitar. Jeff was/is in a band (Thirty Seconds of Shame) that was signed by Curt Smith from Tears For Fears, and has opened for KingsX and Sevendust. Please tell me how you like the music and how it can be improved, and I will return the favor if you wish. Here is my link:

Serious combo!
Maschine Jam is quite a timeless piece of gear for many. We'd also be keen on having an MK2 version, but it's most likely not going to happen any time soon 😢

Interesting! Definitely opens up the flexibility of TRK-01, which is already great imo. Gotta try your remote control for filthy random basslines.

Hey great jams here 🎸
For future posts, our Music made with NI thread would be more appropriate for sharing your tracks.

Yes, I fear that MK2 will not come any time soon. That is why I purchased second Jam. I may survive like that 5-10 years, till Mk2 comes. 😁

After a few years out of music production, I'm just getting back into it, and recently upgraded Komplete 8 to 13. Bit of a difference! A bit intimidating too. Nice not to spend hours swapping out DVD's for install though. 😆 Upgraded mostly for Noire (love it), TRK-01 (love it) and new versions of the workhorses - Kontakt and Reaktor. I've never been much of a Battery user, but that might change with the upgrade from 3 to 4. The shear amount of content is a bit overwhelming, but I'm sure I'll get through it. Wish NI had a central index for product manuals.

Have fun in your journey with Komplete 13 🤠
You can find online manuals for most of our plugins gathered in here: https://bit.ly/3HPqONf 👈

This is the kind of thing I was thinking of. I don't understand why its so incomplete, and invisible. 😄 Would also be good to include the download versions. I know people hate manuals. Presumably why you make it so difficult to gather them together. But with so many different UI's, everyone can learn something by reading the manual. Or maybe its just because I'm old. 🧐

You can also find the manuals directly in your computer, in the respective product's Documentation folder.
The default installation path for NI content products is here:
- macOS:
- Macintosh HD > Users > Shared > *Product Name*
- Windows:
- C: > Users > Public > Public Documents > *Product Name*

Needing a page to explain the various processes involved in finding manuals (depending on the product, product type, age, etc) means there's something wrong with the underlying process. I mean, I understand that processes change over the years to maximize efficiency, but how long would it really take to make sure there's a link to every product manual, on a single index page?
btw - I'm done now. Didn't mean to hijack a positive thread with negativity. Loving Komplete 13. 😀

Finally purchased Komplete 13 Ultimate CE. I'm loving it, so far my favourite is Cremona Quartet.
Arkhis is great too. Looks like I'm going to have fun for some time.
