Traktor 3.6+ Collection corrupts when file path includes sym links / shortcuts

In Traktor 3.5.2 and prior, I had no issue. In 3.6+, when my collectionis saved, every track has the path reset to C:\
This is emphasised as collection.nml file size shrinks.
My track path does include one symbolic link / windows shortcut.
I can restore my collection from a backup and traktor loads it fine. However as soon as I exit and collection.nml is re-saved, all paths for every track in my collection is set to C:\[track file] - so when I next open the collection, no track can be found or opened.
I have reverted to version 3.5.2. Same issue occurs in 3.6.1 and 3.7.1.
Windows 10.

It's really bad practice to store files directly on you C:\ volume's root. This can give issues with various programs as Windows generally does not allow files to be stored there. Create a folder, at least to put your files in. like C:\Music\ or C:\Users\<user name>\Music or the likes.

I don't think the OP was storing files on C: - Traktor was messing up the locations of files accessed via a symbolic link and storing an incorrect path.

Ah you're right. "every track has the path reset to C:\"
