4 command mapping to one button in the controller manager
With one midi mapped button I want to
If the deck is empty:
- Load deck A, sync on, hotcue 1 and play
- if the deck is playing then simply trigger 1 as a hotcue (unless another track is selected then point 1. again)
So I believe it would look like
Load Selected - Deck A- trigger
PLAY PAUSE -Direct Value 1,
SYNC ON value 1 - Direct,
Select/Set + Store Hotcue 1 - Hold,
The problem is that it isn't going to hotcue 1, it's going to the load in cue (is that the conflict?) and then when I press it again when playing, it works only half way along the track, later down the line it takes me somewhere in the middle as if Flux is on which it isnt!
Have I missed something? Any help gratefully received!!

Map Cue + Play as a button inverted commands.

That's because of the delay (while a track in being loaded).
You cannot play until a deck is loaded. If you have other questions, let me know!

Or simply use a Load Marker cue.
