cdj3000 + T4 on a M4... Can't connect?!

I just want to check what that Mac detects the USB connection on the Pioneer CDJ-3000 as. The CDJ-3000 has USB 3.0 port connections, and I want to know if is a power issue—USB 3.0 has a maximum power draw of 900mA whereas USB 2.0 has a maximum power draw of 500mA.
Also which USB type port on the CDJ-3000 does that Mac connect to—Type A or Type B?

This may be a long shot but when you connect CDJ and import a mapping does the CDJ appear at In-Port and Out-Port of the Controller Manager?

I've used CDJ3000 with my 10 year-old mac lots of times. So if it didn't had problems with power draw then, i see no reason to have it now with a new mac. Anyway, itds the same with connected directly, or with a powered hub, so it can't be a power propblem. CDJs have type B USB connectors.

I would sort out a USB power issue in this case. CDJ-3000s aren't bus powered and have their own power cord. The power any USB port supplies is enough for just transferring data.
Can someone confirm that CDJ-3000s are working on M4 Macs with other DJ software? @macsoft as you wrote you are migrating to Serato: Does it work there?

as a stated before, it also doesn't work connected to a powered usb hub, so its NOT a power issue. Not would it make any sense: 1 - If I never have a problem with the 3000 and the older macs, why would a new mac had a power problem? 2 - you said it: cdj3000 have their own power cord so the usb connector is just for data transfer.
I'n still getting used to serato, so i havent used it in the club where they have the 3000s.
