I'm at a club where I played dozens of times with my 2014 macbook air with Traktor 3 and the clubs CDJ 3000 no problem.

Today I brought my M4 with Traktor 4.1.1. 23.. and the CDJs don't connect!

tried the T3 on it and still no go! is this an M4 thing?!

I got both computers, and the old one can connect and the new one doesnt! the CDJs recognize an app.. but I never get the -"choose deck" menu after that.

any thoughts?

update: I change cables, bypassed USB HUB and still no go. It acts just the same when I had an older Traktor 3 version that didnt accepted CDJ 3000 yet. but this is Traktor 4!

really? no one? How do I get an answer from someone from Native Instruments? I literally can't play in this club with my new laptop and my new 75 bucks upgrade to Traktor 4

if no connection, simply create a pre-mapped

    maybe it works

Strictly speaking Traktor Pro 4 isn't supported on your new MacBook isn't (yet). System requirements clearly state Apple M1, M2 or M3 - no M4. I am pretty sure that isn't really the issue but it has to be mentioned.

Last year it was same with M3 chips and Traktor Pro 3. Official support for M3 just came with Traktor Pro 4.1. But of course everything worked just fine before that.

Will the CDJs show up in System profiler as USB devices at all? Are they listed as audio interfaces in audio settings an available as system outputs?

You stated you tried different cables, with hub and without hub, therefore I expect that the cables aren't the issue here. Would be my first guess otherwise - especially as your old MacBook has only USB-A and your new one USB-C which means there has to be a different cable arrangement.

the CDJs do show up as Audio Interfaces.

Also, I've used my new M4 Sequoia 15.1 Macbook before with other Pionner (CDJs with no problem: 2000, 2000NXS and my own XDJ1000. I did this both with USB hub or solo cables (USB-C ones) and zero problems.

Dunno if its a Sequoia problem or an M4 problem, but this is very serious. This club is one of the ones I'm booked most often.. And I can't use me new laptop because of it

Strange, don‘t own any CDJs to reprouce your issue. Therefore I have no more real ideas at this point. Except for trying with macOS 15.2 (or maybe 15.0 but downgrading is well possible but has its own quirks).

As other CDJs are working it is maybe an issue with this combination (M4, 15.1 and CDJ-3000).

I don't feel OS is the problem, because Native says its compatible. Since its only with the 3000s and Since its the exact same problem I had with an older version of T3 before they made it compatible with the 3000s, it just seams like someone screwed up on the development team, and just left that fix out? But then again, I tried T3 in the new M4 and still had that problem. So maybe its really an M4 thing? the only way for me to rule it out, would be to get a Sequoia OS on an old Mac, but i think many users were able to work with that…

At this point its terrible.. my favorite club to play, and I can't use my new laptop. I could still use my old one, but because its an old mac and I can't install the latest OS, I cannot install T4, and all the stems and new features dont work!

Do anyone knows how long Native usually takes to respond? I've got a gig in the same club next week and I still can't work with the CDJ3000 in there…
