No. I will continue to read and i will not ignore anything. As long as i have mod duties, i do have a responsibility to keep the forum clean from toxicity and make sure that everything is working by the rules (with some flexibility of course). Because whatever i do in life, i take it seriously and i serve it faithfully at the highest possible level.

What i wrote, was just a friendly advice and i will repeat it if necessary. Any person that has any kind of "monomania", is good to have a talk with a therapist. This is the truth and there is nothing offensive or disrespectful in it. And truth has to be told, no matter what.

What that person wrote, it might be a reason for ban and the admins are informed about it (what they will do, it's up to them).

I will continue to protect the majority of good users from the few toxic ones, by any means necessary. And since you are a good and intelligent member i would prefer to have you on our side and that you stop defending toxicity in the name of a supposed "free opinion". You should knew that, your freedom stops where mine begins (and vice-versa). Period.

And please do not spoil this nice conversation with irrelevant comments any further and do not force me to use the warning system or to close this very interesting thread! 🙏

Maybe I'm reading your reply wrong but I believe this was wish list for 2025.. I gave my suggestion of what i would like to see and you replied it being dumb.. so if that considered constructed discussion then I'll stay away fromm this forum.. I am a paying customer who is frustrated with the lack of direction and communication..but what do I know 🤔

I did not say your suggestion was 'dumb', and can only apologise if it came across that way, that's not what I was saying at all. I was responding to the suggestion NI have deliberately made their products not work well together to sell more devices, I was saying it would be a dumb thing for them to do in my opinion, not that you are being dumb.

My personal thoughts on NI using user data to say not integrate Maschine with the mk3 keyboards is that it's an excuse rather than fact.

I think they made a decision for whatever reason not to integrate Maschine with the mk3 keyboards and didn't expect the backlash they got, panicked, and are using the user data thing as an excuse as to why they messed up, effectively blaming the users rather than blaming themselves for their error.

I think their employees have been told to say this hence people like Matthew_NI have no choice but give us that line. This is purely what I think, no factual evidence for it, I suspect that I’m right though.

This is what I find difficult to understand: how they can not foresee the consequences of some of their decisions.

And I’m not talking about the “important” ones, like the direction they want to take (that, me agreeing or not with it, it’s in their hand…even if I think that also this has not been well analyzed, since it will lead to loose the peculiarities they had and that made them one of the big names, becoming “one of the many” and therefore easily replaceable)

But about some “little” things, that probably would not even be so costly or time demanding to realize.

If we see it, how is possible some professionals don’t?

And this brings me to my fears: probably they see it… but someone from top doesn’t listen even to them…or doesn’t want to give them the tools (money, time and resources….even enough human resources) to realize it.

You know…putting together some samples packs and copy/paste sampled instruments costs less and probably brings cash in the pockets faster…

As is ignoring your developers and users telling you “to make it a good product, we should do this and that” and just telling them “release it so we will start selling sooner”. Less costs, faster incomes

My question to all how would you feel if NI allow other grooveboxes have access to komplete kontrol & kontakt direct connect? That would expand business across platforms..

For me, any type of expansion, extension, collaboration, openness etc. is a very positive move thus it is very welcome. Open platforms everywhere, that will freely interact to each other, that's the ideal.

But personally i care about how those kind of moves will expand and evolve the concept of music, art, ideas and co-operation. I really, really do not care at all about the 'businesses' part. I fully understand its necessity for further development, but, i can not accept it as "first priority" goal.
