No, but thanks for sharing. I'll give it a go now that in V3 we can Pin 3rd Party plugins maybe using this sort of solution became less painfull.

I'm not in front of the HW right now but if i remember correctly it's possible to change menu after holding the Pad.

@darkwaves @D-One yeah thanks guys I tried it wrong way first (like you can adjust velocity after you release the pad), it's been a while of using standalone only. It's working as expected! :) Kinda excited because I found good workflow now to just use the Maschine Plus mainly as a sequencer first and samples more as an extra feature.

Can you elaborate how you use this? I downloaded it and I don't really get how it would be beneficial together with Maschine?

Maschine does not support MIDI Out from Plugins, so if you try to use plugins that generate Chords, Arps, or manipulates MIDI in anyway it wont fully work, the piano roll records the original note, not the generated or manipulated stuff…

Using a plugin that cant host the MIDI FX plugin you can overcome this limitation.

This is a must, it only needs automation, browse, and the mixer view to display. That should have been the "basic integration"

Maschine 1.0 felt like competition for the MPC when it came out and I feel the sampler side never really evolved.

My sampler wish list:

• realtime time stretching and pitch shifting with key and tempo detection.
  
• filters/effects/more parameters per slice
  
• more vintage sampler simulations, with more control over filters and sample rate.
  
• granular sampler module/option
  
• ‘skipback’ function which monitors the master or other inputs constantly making your sampler a time maschine and be able to call back anything you played, did with your effects, had incoming on your input etc, no need to arm the sampler and get ready, just go with the flow and have maschine record all audio in the background, ready to call back any time.

From the perspective of someone who has moved from all previous Maschine models to M+, I miss the synchronization of the favorites.db3 file the most, especially since the sound library is super huge and I like to have selected what is useful for me.
At the moment I have to do it manually which is very time-consuming.

Also some automated process of creating .previews files would make life easier, especially when you use a lot of third-party content or own soundesign, Presets, kits etc.

Another thing is integrate products from Komplete or bought for Kontakt Player or Reaktor Player and use them in standalone.

Reaktor itself also deserves better integration with M+ because it gives a very large field for creating your own plugins and instruments and for me this is something that incredibly distinguishes M+ from the competition.

Iam using it without hardware, only as vst.
I can't see anymore keyboards (letters) shortcut for editing ? Pencil mode, zoom, etc….

I think key detection for samples would be great. So it would display the key of a specific one shot or loop

so maschine would detect the key of a sample so if the pitch was a D# it would automatically map the keys so that the notes would all be correct, instead of just making it a C note and having to correct the pitch manually.

which is a huge timesaver for sample based production
