im sure they would if they could, i dont think they have the resources to keep developing the maschine+ platform, besides small fixes and "life" updates. this "collaboration" thing its just a move to still be in business and make money.

I'm happy.. although I don't need any of those expansions or libraries.. I will say if you are a die hard NI end user and are willing to keep investing in unfinished products. Then this partnership should really make u mad and know its about money not what the customer wants..

Yes they will come out with an update for maschine + and maybe fix the komplete kontrol slowness but how long did it take

I don't have nothing.. look as long you are doing it on Art and Time, I support you.

Cubase 14 have a Page a Front Page and everything that is written And what he pointed out in particular, that's what I was thinking, and frankly, we can do it for the rest of our lives about what Cubase 14 can do. It's a Everything and much more than Competition is offering.

Me as a Altruist i can't just do my thing and avoid this Community. AKAI is not strange to me, I grew up with AKAI Samplers and other hardware solutions untill First Steinberg's VST Instruments.

There is no Better accept your personal preference and it's desirable to stand behind them as a part of the image.

I can do everything and I mean even impossible to possible very fast on the M+ Standalone and it's attracts attention of many other Artists, Musicians.

NI Maschine is a tool a instrument for the Best in the industry but I won't draw others into my little corner where I found myself with all of you here in Community. I didn't expect that my reach ( I am avoiding " success") is so high but I wanted to maybe help someone, collaboration because, expecting to be among experienced Users or someone who is sharing experience.

Let's be honest and stay polite following community guidelines.

It is so simple but in a specific way and if you are dedicated you can see it but it's easier to not believe in how simple it is and complicating things instead.

STUDIO= No smoking 🚭, clean no dust and keep everything in check following TLC.

Worlds #1 Fingerdruming Beat Genius won using an Atom and an AKAI Mini in addition to 3 AKAI Ones with expensive Samples, so it's not about that either but it's a Personal Preference and it's OK.

I don't want Touch Screen, not even in form of Kaosscilator FX.

Even Native Instruments is creating MPC Expansions now.

Your question is rhetorical, anyway, but it would make zero sense even if it weren't.

Lol. Also, "But, why are you here?" has been played out for at least a solid decade.

I don't use standalone groove boxes.

I have Maschine controllers, and Laptops that are as portable as a Maschine+ without the drawbacks of one.

Give me a reason to pay $400 more for a Maschine+ that isn't anchored on your subjective take on what you think is better. What are the objective benefits as a "studio centerpiece" in comparison to the One+? (That last question goes back to the context of the post I was replying to…)

As far as updates are concerned, the device will always be hampered by it's spec package. It's underpowered, especially considering the price point. I can't really drag them for being slow to add things to it. I know how difficult it must be to add features that require compute capacity to a device that came out of the gate teetering that line.

Yes i agree I did purchase the MPC X for $2200 back in 2018 and it only has improved well worth the $$.. maschine + looked promising and I did buy only to return a week later.. it launched to soon like other NI products such as kontrol mk3 which i bought wish i didn't and that was $899 for k61.. this a great move by NI gives them time to get there act together on there software..

The disparity in product support between the two product lines speaks for itself, however, Native Instruments could have made this device significantly better if they had resisted trying to rake in disgustingly high profit margins and - instead - invested some of that price in better componentry.

Like I stated (or maybe I edited, to keep previous reply shorter), I am fine with a high price point as long as the device delivers the goods.

If what Maschine+ offers is good enough for the people who buy it, then good for them. I'm not obliged to participate, but a niche audience will garner niche product support levels ;-)

To a clued-in consumer, no product exists in a vacuum. There is always a choice, and every purchase comes after being weighed against competing options. That's just how the world works.

Maschine+ exists becasue people were here talking about these things - comparatively. Native Instruments just botched the execution, which gave people like people like me very weak rationale for jumping over from the devices we already own to the new device they released.

This is great news, and I wonder what this means for the A/M series controllers.

Unless NI is planning a pretty decent refresh of those controllers, it will be a hard sell considering they lack pads and don't really have great mixer control in most DAWs (since they lack Faders and Banks of Buttons/Toggles for Select/Mute/Solo).

I was in Guitar Center looking at controllers yesterday, but I think I will see how this works on my Oxygen Pro and LaunchKey before I do anything.

I still think Maschine MK3/Plus should function as Komplete Kontrol controllers with Komplete Kontrol, though.
