When is next M+ update? Also beta testing signups?
ok so in another discussion it appears there is an upcoming Maschine+ update that is currently in beta… is there any more information on that release? Is there a soft date? Updated change log?
Also, I am currently a beta tester for EngineOS, MPC, and Roland…. Would love to beta testing for Maschine+, if possible where would I go to submit a beta tester application?

You are waisting your time to asking here about next update, previously update was scheduled for April but like always something goes wrong or they just changed plans and probably we get this update someday later this year. 7 months without compatibility with Maschine 2 SW…That's not even crazy THAT'S RUDE.

What do you mean with '7 months without compatibility with Maschine 2 SW'?
I jut switched from Maschine MK3 to a (used) Maschine+, but it seems (at least as far as I can tell now) to work the same as the MK3 when in controller mode.
Is there anything I should be prepared for?

Software version of Maschine is newer than version installed on Maschine+ hardware standalone unit.
You can transfer projects to computer from M+ without problems.
BUT
I have hybrid dj setup now and want to use M+ as standalone project player with Traktor 4 and projects made on Maschine 2 Software will be problematic because Maschine SW has newer soft than M+. That's issue of most software this days. You cant open project made inside newer version in older version of program…

You cannot officially apply, but have to be invited by one of the moderators or team members.
Publicly announcing that you’re a tester for the competition is probably not going to help.

According to @Matthew_NI the current beta will be released "in a few weeks" (that was from early July) and the changelog is:

Please be aware of ‘word games’. That’s what some people like to play.
The word ‘Beta’ is not mentioned, so it could also be an internal test by the development team.As I didn’t get any response to my offer to act as a tester for this upcoming M+ firmware update, I don’t think they’re ready for a Beta test. Or they rely on their preferred testers, but then I would say ‘thanks, but no thanks’.

My bet it will be released somewhere around January 2025 with additional urgent bugfix update couple of weeks later

Alpha test, QA test, smoke test, beta test, eye test, somethings being tested (besides my patience) god dammit!

Given the current pace of updates, and the announcement of the Maschine 3.0 release until 2025, that’s probably not an unreasonable assumption.

Are the holiday seasons over in Germany yet? That probably affects things the most ATM..

If it’s not some holiday season then it’s a sales season. There is always en excuse why things are held back, as if it came as a surprise. If that was the case, then the company management should probably consider to introduce a method called „planning“, which can help occasionally as rumors go. 🤪
